Appartement liegt auf der Presque Ile zwischen der Innenstadt von Deauville und der Brücke nach Trouville, also sehr zentral. Am Platz um die Ecke Restaurants, Creperie, Boulangerie (Richtung Gare). Zu Fuss zum Strand (Deauville oder Trouville) ca. 20 min. Tiefgarage prima. Wohnung ruhig. Betten bequem, auch das Sofabett.

Schlüsselübergabe durch die "Putzmänner" (sehr nett), da der ursprüngliche Mitarbeiter zu spät war - wir haben uns rechtzeitig angemeldet und waren nach 7h Fahrt pünktlich ;-). Leider hatten wir nur einen Schlüssel. Auf unsere zweimalige Anfrage nach einem 2. Schlüssel erhielten wir keine Antwort (laut Infoheft im Appartement wird einem ein Zweitschlüssel zur Verfügung gestellt).

Firstly, communication with the Host was quick and easy. This was done through Booking.com messaging system. Getting the keys was easy, the host explained that someone would meet us outside the apartment to hand over the keys at a certain time. This was completed easily. Secondly, the garage is well situated, well lit, safe and secure. I have a long vehicle, an estate which is bigger than most. I had absolutely no issues with parking in the garage, it fit with a few inches to spare and there was plenty of room either side of the car. I'm not sure why other people were unable to park here as there was ample room even with my long estate car. Thirdly, the apartment itself is spacious with everything needed for a long stay. The living room is open and light, the bathroom is large and well decorated and the bedroom was spacious for all our needs. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities needed. A dishwasher, washing machine, clothes hanger, iron, hairdryer etc... clean bedding and sheets were also provided and already made up on the bed. The balcony was okay. It is on the small side which made it sometimes difficult to sit on there comfortably but it was good to have nonetheless. Instructions on the HostHelper app were useful and easy to follow especially for things like the bin store and where to leave the keys at the end of the stay. All in all, cannot fault the apartment, the communication or the host. A great holiday and a great stay for the 15 days we were there.

A Kitchen knife would have been helpful to prep food better. Not a major issue though

The location was perfect, the place was as expected

Getting the keys was a bit of a hassle. We did not receive any link with instructions or any relevant information. We had to wait for a code that never arrived.
