One Suite Syros

The apartment is located centrally to all the shops, cafes, restaurants, Port and everything you need is at your doorstep. We worked out that we didn't need to use the steps from the port to arrive at the street of the apartment. We used Kea street that is literally a few steps away from the apartment. It's a road that is accessed by cars, motorbikes and pretty much everyone. I reached out to Helen to ask if she could make the sofa bed before checking in which she did. Although the sofa bed was not quite as comfortable as I expected I got used to it sleeping on it over 4 nights. The host left some greek sweets which was nice and water in the fridge including all kitchen accessories.. There were enough towels and we had a washing machine and dryer that came in handy. It was very cosy and had a nice character. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The highlight would be that it was so close to everything. Going to and from the Port was so easy and close. The property is also secured by deadlocks which we felt safe. We were also happy that the property is located street level. No stairs which was great.

What we didn't like is the noise at night. It was so loud with cars, motor bikes and people passing by talking very loud. I wouldn't say this is a negative however it is something to keep in mind. It was a nuisance the first night we checked in however late at night it was quiet. This is something that is out of the hosts control.

Exceptional location, well furnished, perfect for a family. Staff very response and accomodating

Adjacent to a music bar/ restaurant, music can be heard through the walls. Appartement on a ground floor of a through street. Curtains difficult to fully close. These are small minor annoyances, some not bothered by them, others yes

Stylish design and luxury shower and bathroom. Nespresso in the morning

Nothing

The room was spacious and clean. The location to the centre was perfect.

The windows should be double glazed because it is right in a very busy road. The noise is impossible to sleep from 730am-2am. Also the lady host did not explain how to turn on the hot water until after I asked. And then she questioned me about whether the water was warm enough. Additionally you can not run the washing machine or the air con without a key in the slot. The door key and electricity key cannot be separated and they only give you one key. So I found myself sitting at home waiting for the washing machine to finish a 2.5 hour wash.
