The cabin was very well equipped and had everything and more that you could need.
It was comfortable and cosy even with storm Amy raging outside! Both the beds were comfortable and warm, the extra blankets were a thoughtful touch although we didn’t need them as the cabin was warm and cosy with the heating.
No negatives!

The cabin was of a good size and very well equipped, a place I could actually live in. The garden was pleasant and a good size. Off road parking is always a boon as is ease of access. Ravenglass is a lovely small village, right on the estuary which is rather beautiful. Good food at the Inn, we thought the chicken skewers were some of the best we've had.
The mattress was too soft for me, it aggravated my bad back, but the sofa was more than adequate as a replacement.

Everything from the moment we get there! First of all the place was spotless! The location, the garden, the decoration, the appliances, the instructions, the games, books, the eco
-friendly shampoo and shower gel, the super comfortable bed and pillows and a detail that I loved...the lavender pillow mist! What a place to spend time visiting the beautiful Lake District and relaxing ❤️

A very comfortable, well appointed log cabin, in a private but convenient location, close to the sea front.

Located in the centre of Ravenglass, close to local pubs. Parking directly outside. Large and spacious accommodation with really helpful hosts always available. Beautiful cabin with every small detail catered for, plenty of facilities to stay in and cook. Lots of room for boots and hiking kit, washing machine available.

the property was spotlessly clean and very spacious. the hosts had kitted it out with everything required to make the place feel like a home from home. The trip was for my partners birthday; and they went all out for this and set up balloons for our arrival and a small gift and cake. These special touches made all the difference. can’t recommend enough!

Fabulous garden. Very comfortable. Good size and plenty of storage. Great facilities.
Would have been helpful to be able to adjust heating. We weren’t able to get soggy clothes dried.
Smell of damp in bedroom and bathroom.

Nice and cosy cabin in a private garden, peaceful, quiet and well-equipped. Anne, our host was very friendly and helpful, suggested places to visit, gave us a lift when we needed (there was a railway strike), and left kind little surprises around the house for us. We really felt like home. Thank you!

Location perfect in the heart of Ravenglass, very friendly, knowledgable & approachable hosts, well equipped log cabin & v nicely laid out / furnished interior. Off-street parking adjacent to log cabin & it felt very private. Would definitely stay there again.

What a fantastic stay, fabulous hosts Anne and Dave. Gorgeous cabin kept absolutely spotless, kitted out with all the gadgets appliances and tools you could ever need. Proper scandi looking cabin, with all the small finishing touches. Great location a 2 minute walk to 3 pubs, a small shop with basics in + icecream parlour, and right on the seafront of a gorgeous bay. Also many walking routes surrounding which we took part in and the ravenglass railway. I can’t wait to stay again thankyou so much for a lovely weekend. Pictures really do not do this place justice ,Spot on x

Absolutely lovely cabin, as others have said the photos don't do it the justice it deserves, we were blown away. It's spacious yet cozy due to being surrounded by wood, super peaceful, well equipped, very clean and very private despite being in the back garden of the hosts Anne and David, who are fantastic and friendly. They're there to chat or ask them anything, but also leave you to enjoy your stay in solitude.
Taking the train up the coast to Whitehaven and walking the coastal path to st bees before jumping on the train home via a drink in the pub to warm up is an absolute must!
Be sure to bring enough food for your stay, the nearest co-op was 4 miles drive and was a bit sparse.
We will be definitely be staying again.
Thank you

Great location, well equipped and maintained, clean accommodation, friendly hosts
Just a personal preference, we like a larger bed - we are not small people and have a superking at home

Beautiful cabin and a charming village with everything the Lake District has to offer close to hand. Friendly hosts and clear communication - altogether a great experience. If you are having to work the wifi is a little intermittent but hopefully you're just there to relax!
Wifi connection poor - hub not in the cabin itself.

Anne and Dave were exceptional hosts. Upon going into the cabin set just off the beach we were amazed. Unfortunately we had the motorcycle break down on the last day and Anne and Dave helped myself and my partner so much and when out of there way to make the last day as stressless as possible for us. We even had to leave the motorcycle overnight whiles we sorted out a van to pick it up and they happily stored overnight for us. We honestly didn't expect this and it make the very stressful experience alot easier and we can't thank them enough. The whole holiday and cabin was amazing thanks to Anne and Dave we look forward to staying again but think we will get the train just set off from the cabin itself next time and again thank you Anne and Dave so much for a wonderful long weekend away it was needed..
Many thanks
