Wonderful caravan!!

We had a lovely stay at this lovely caravan. I've never stayed in one before, so I was quite surprised with the space. The space was neat and tidy with little touches of home. Complimentary sweets for the children, with tea and coffee. Cooking equipment was also available with basic store cupboard supplies, which was great! Overall, the children had a fantastic time using the pool and the onsite facilities. There are 3 beaches nearby, Colchester zoo is a must visit!! So, there is plenty to do. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely caravan!! The hosts were very friendly and on hand at all times to answer any questions. They even allowed us to check in early!! Thank you, Kat & Michael

Lovely stay at Clacton-on-sea, as a family of 4 for the Easter bank holiday weekend break.

The site has just had new entertainment facilities which were very well kept and within 5 minutes walk from the caravan. The owner was very helpful and kept in touch throughout our stay.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We were only there for a few days but had everything we needed for our stay. We would come back and stay again. Clacton-on-sea is a nice place and is affordable, we played 18-hole crazy golf as a family of 4 for £20 on the pier.

Lovely stay, lovely hosts…will definitely return!😀

The hosts are fabulous and couldn’t do more to facilitate the ease of checking in with clear directions. They were always quick to answer questions. Their place is lovely. Tastefully decorated. well equipped with quality equipment. The hosts left some very welcoming coffee pods and biscuits. Coffee, tea and sugar also left. The place was spotlessly clean. Unfortunately, we didn’t use the cooker as we eat out, but looked great for self catering, also a large fridge and freezer. I can’t vouch for the club house etc, we didn’t use it, but the staff we met were friendly. We have already booked another week and are looking forward to it.

The property was great, but the private road leading from the road from the St Osyth’s side onto the site is very dodgy, not a lot the owners of the property can do, but the site management need to take stock. We recommend entering from Jaywick end.

Beautiful Caravan - resort not so much

caravan was beautiful, spotless and very well equipped - comfy beds and lovely living area

nothing wrong with the property at all - couldn’t fault it. The only negative thing about the whole stay was the evenings - we had kids with us and the hour and half long bingo session from 7.30 (before entertainment began) was a little arduous. the kids were bored whilst waiting and if you’re not playing bingo it can be a very long time to have to keep them quiet / entertained until it’s over. ‘Krazy Krew’ weren’t exactly crazy, there was a short dance period then photo time. The staff wanted parents to get up and participate which for the kids who’s parents didn’t want too, caused some issues. Arcade area outdated and some machines not working / dispensing tickets. we were told there was nothing they could do about it. Kids parks were a bit drab, not much to do and the frames were shaking. Shop only open until 5pm. Only able to book the swimming pool in 45 min sessions so was a mission trying to get the kids to leave once the time was up. Couldn’t fault the caravan at all but would not return to this park in future.

Spotless, extra touches such as tea coffee etc made it more special and welcoming definitely recommend and will stay again at some time soon.
