The house is nicely located with a great view on the mountains. The house was clean and tidy. There is a lot of lawn to run with kids. Place is well located in case of visit to Rila Monastery and other attractions.

It was clean. Nice back yard, pleasant view.

It was extremely cold. I had to stay with a hat and a jacket for the first two hours. The air conditioning managed to warm, but the floor, walls etc. stayed extremely cold and unpleasant. Just, being thoughtful and warming the rooms a day earlier would have meant a great difference. Check-in was from 15.00h till 20.00h, we arrived at 17.00h and since there was no one there, we called the phone provide. We were scolded that we are late and we should wait ten minutes. Waiting was ok, the attitude not. The man, when showing us our room, entered with wet boots and a smoking cigarette in his mouth. When I said I wouldn’t stay there with the dirt he brought in and the smoke he scolded me again with:” Where do you see mud, I haven’t been to the woods.” He then gave us another room, which was clean enough and as cold as the previous around 12-14 degrees Celsius. I’m writing all these so you are prepared for the attitude. The man was generally with good intentions, but that’s what they can with no hospitality training whatsoever. And if it was cheap, it is probably what to expect, but for 90 euro/ a night for two,in a random village, you expect a bit more. The property is on the road, so expect car noise. It was ok for me though, not too disturbing.
