The location is close to several restaurants. Restaurants in Hampi are very very costly.

The shower was a bit of a trouble.

The homestay was as described and shown on the website. Our room was very comfortable and a good size. We loved the shared balcony outside our room and the roof terrace with covered seating area. Host was very welcoming and there is a kitchen/dining area that guests can use including a fridge. Was a very comfortable stay.

As with many homestays and in Hampi as a whole you can only pay in cash or indian paytm which is a probelm for international tourists. We were travelling with an indian guide so not too much of a probelm for us. The homestay was on the more expensive side for Hampi but having trawlled the internet looking at dozens of properties it was worth it although not the easiest of places to find. The outside area was more built up than the impression given on booking.com but the additional trees were welcome.

Wonderfully relaxing place, beautiful terrace, room was small but nice and clean, the flowers on arrival were a beautiful touch. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts recommended a tour guide called Raju who was fabulous and took us around for the days we were there - as well as to a wonderful dinner place out in the jungle.

There is an open window in bathroom so must be careful or mosquitos

The house was very nice and well decorated, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the rooftop is very nice.

Unfortunately didn’t match our expectations at all reading the other comments. Upon arrival, we immediately tried to get sold a 2/3 day tour with the host’s friend, but when refused because we wanted to do other things, everything changed. The host was unresponsive and didn’t answer our requests of for instance, a breakfast (this then becomes particularly bad when we see the other guests being offered breakfast in the common room). We felt unwelcome overall and taken advantage of (our drinks being offered to other guests without permission) - while the house is pleasant enough these attitudes, specially in a homestay property, end up taking over. Do not recommend unless you are willing to be sold a tour when your backpack is still on the car and through into placing your bags in your room.
