Little Banana Homestay

Friendly family, quiet place outside the village, short walk to a good cafe/restaurant or to get a bus or auto or shared transport to Hampi. Lots of shops for essentials nearby. The room was comfortable and bathroom large and clean. Breakfast is simple but tasty.

There is no signage so can be difficult to find if the auto/taxi doesn't know the place; after dark there is no lighting from the road to the building gate; breakfast is only available after 8.30 am because of the host family's domestic arrangements. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but can be requested from the host.

El jardín

Falta de privacidad. La Ventana daba a un jardín pero pasaba gente por delante por lo que había que tener la Cortina echada. No había información sobre caminos alternativos a la a carretera principal para llegar a los monumentos no para pasear. El había estaba desaprovechado pues no tenía zona para sentarse y estar. De echo mucho de menos tener servicio de desayuno para poder disfrutar el lugar más. Había que empezar el día yendo a New Hampi a desayunar.

This place is exactly what a homestay should be: authentic, warm, and personal. The family running it are incredibly kind and made us feel like guests in their home rather than customers. We rolled in at dawn off the overnight sleeper bus and they welcomed us early and let us leave our bags before check-in without any fuss. The rooms are really comfortable and clean, set in a lovely quiet garden, and you are close enough to the bazaar and the ruins to explore everything easily. It felt like staying with friends. Highly recommended if you want the genuine Hampi experience.

Très propre, cadre vraiment agréable et fleuri. Eau chaude 24/24, clim, moustiquaire. Jolie maisonette spacieuse. Très calme pour dormir car en retrait de la route. Possibilité de rejoindre les sites sud de Hampi à pied (prendre à gauche dès l'entrée du village) Village de Kadirampuram à 200m (restaurant, atm, location de vélos,divers commerces) ainsi que l'arrêt de bus pour Hosapete (36 Rps) ou Hampi (24 Rps) ... Horaires mystérieux par contre. Sympathique famille.

Pas possible d'avoir le petit déjeuner tôt (avant 8h30), mais la famille a de jeunes enfants dont elle doit s'occuper. Pas bien grave, gargotes pas loin (thé, beignets etc...)
