Villa Dijana - Pool, Spa, Outdoor Kitchen

The villa was very nice and extremely well equipped. George was very nice during the reception and was always available when we called him. All of the facilities were well maintained and the main highlight was Junta, a very well behaved dog that was very friendly and well mannered. We were a group of 7 and we all had a great time at the villa and for the first time we could see that a listing is actually even better than the photos

One very small detail but it could be related to personal preferences, but the bed sheets could be improved

Kuhinja na otvorenom, bazen, sauna, priroda

The property has a large and pleasant territory with a lawn, grill/bar zone, fire pit, and plenty of firewood. The house itself is spacious, with three separate bedrooms, a cozy living room with a fireplace and working place, a kitchen, and a dedicated spa area with a jacuzzi and infrared sauna. We especially enjoyed the outdoor relaxation area and had fun playing darts. Communication with host was pleasant and easy-going, he allowed us to check-in earlier, check-out later and answered all the questions promptly.

Surprisingly, none of the previous reviews mentioned the cleanliness issues — the place was extremely dirty. Tables and bar surfaces were grimy, spider webs were all over (including the spa zone), broken glass on the floor, and the outdoor chair seats were stained and burned by cigarettes. The storage area for cushions on the terrace was full of wood bugs. Green area is well-groomed, but it’s full of ticks, so we tried to avoid it. Several important things weren’t mentioned: - The outdoor pool isn’t operational until July. Although it was stated that it should be a heated pool. - There are dogs living on the property, which was a bit problematic since we brought our own dog and there were moments when the local dogs bullied ours. Besides they also were full of ticks. - Wi-Fi was quite poor, youtube videos were loaded only in the lowest resolution and with interruptions. Inside the house, many things are in need of renovation — doors creak, and some handles are loose or falling off.
