Dullstroom Artist Cottages

We loved the proximity to the main street. The fireplace was awesome. The unit was nice and spacious.

We went in winter and the fireplace helped a lot Electric blankets would've been welcome and maybe some small rugs in front of the bed. It was freezing. The street in front of the guesthouse is a bit dark and then you struggle to get the locks combination in the darkness and the lock is on the inside of the gate.

Very clean, comfortable and centrally located. The fireplace was a lifesaver!

The hot water in the shower was a bit temperamental, which was a bit of a shock on a cold morning.

We stayed in the Van Gogh cottage. The cottage is exceptionally decorated and includes everything you need for a short stay. The private patio with braai is a bonus. The location could not have been better, we arrived on Friday, parked our car and only used our car again on Sunday when we left.

The only minor inconvenience was that the pillows in the main bedroom were a bit uncomfortable.

Quaint, good location, clean.

Units all face each other -fine if your a big group renting out all 4 but not if all different guests. Parking. They promised one parking per unit however, the parking bay is so small on 3 cars could actually fit and be able to reverse out again. When we arrived there was no parking and it was expected we just park in the driveway. In doing so nobody in the parking bays could get out so we had to communicate with people in other rooms to know their plans so we and another car could move our cars out the way so they could get out . Just poor parking situation.
