Lovely views and we went for a 4 hour walk. Good scenery. Cottage basic but ideal for outdoor lovers.
To make your stay convenient, make sure to bring basic spices as there was none in the house. We did the walking trails and better indications with approx walking distances would have been welcomed.

Woolly Bugger is an excellent venue to unwind and relax. The views are beautiful, the accommodation is clean, well equipped and comfortable. We loved that we had unlimited wood supply for the fireplace and boma. There are several well described and marked hiking trails and some viewpoints that be reached by car as well. The 27km dirt road from Dullstroom does take about 45min to drive, so definitely not something one want to do every day. There are some nice gems nearby in Tonteldoos though (like the Cheese tasting, Donkey Deli, and Cat & Cow) to add some variety to one's day.

clean, cosy, free wood.
Bass dam didn’t have any stock, not good for a fishing trip. Noise from people on next property the entire time. Road to the property takes a while due to conditions.
