I liked the location, and it was actually better than I expected.
The pool was dirty, and keep in mind the cabin gets quite cold. They do provide a heater, but I personally don’t like using heaters, and it’s quite small, so it doesn’t warm up the room very well. I decided not to use it. The TV also wasn’t working.

Location was great for what we wanted to experience in the area. Nice quiet town vibes, I liked it. Perfect place to visit.
What could have been better would be to have been told the ins and outs of the unit. Just a small induction of the unit and place. The lady was supposed to come and give a short run down of the unit as mentioned on our arrival, but we had to go and get the info from her. Maybe she was waiting for us to settle down.

I have known the place for quite a while. Whenever I travel to Graskop with my guests, I stay there. It is centrally located, with curio shops and Harrie's Pancakes literally a walking distance away. The key handover and check-out was extremely easy. The place is located in a beautiful garden.
Unfortunately, what was considered satisfactory for tourist accommodation 25 years ago is not so now - generally, the place has aged and needs a large revamp (re-wiring electrical equipment and installing new lights - it is very dark inside; fixing moving taps and installing a modern shower instead of the old bath). The place was clean but gave an impression of neglect - I felt that the garden was getting more attention than the accommodation. Pity, as the place's location in Graskop is perfect.
