Just wonderful x

This is my second stay here at Lisvarna House with my partner and my 2 dogs. The location is perfect with a few minute walk to the Main Street in Buncrana and less than a 10min walk to beautiful Swann Park. The location is also perfect for driving to numerous beach locations and touristy visits, for example Doagh Famine Village and Dundee Fort. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and had all we needed. The landlady is also very helpful with recommendations and will always try to assist with alternative check-in and out times if she can. We have stayed in summer and just now (beginning of Nov). Lovely picnic benches at back of the property to enjoy al fresco dining in good weather and super heating to make it cosy quickly in the winter. I would definitely recommend this property. BTW-there are 2 other apartments within the bungalow that aren’t pet friendly in case this suits better.

The only thing I would say is a gate fitted at either side of the bungalow would be secure the area at the back for my dogs which would be great in the summertime.

Could have been better as it was in a great location

Collecting the key from the key safe was easy and the host had sent us a lovely text to let us know about local attractions etc. The apartment was in a great location and really close to bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was a modern apartment and large enough for the 2 of us.

We had brought some food with us and when went to put the food in the fridge I had to go out and buy kitchen spray and clothes as the fridge was filthy. The cleaners weren't too fussy which made it a shame, things such as grime around the plug holes and taps in the bathroom. The mattress was not good to lie in and made the stay less comfortable. A good nights sleep always makes a stay. The outside space to the property was great but let down by lots of weeds that hadn't been tidied up. We also had no WiFi connection and had to personal hotspot the tv. This could have been a great place to stay if these things were changed and looked after a bit more.

Maybe lacking a little in kitchen area. The induction hob would decrease heat if another hob was turned on and seemed having the oven on was also effecting the hob. Also no chopping knives. Parking situation also difficult when all apartments in use. Had to pay for street parking in the end

The host contacted me after I had already left for the ferry terminal with information on key collection and wi-fi code etc. It was difficult for me to access emails whilst driving. This information should be provided in advance of departure so that those instructions can be read and printed off.

Buncrana beauty!

A lovely modern apartment with everything we needed for a long weekend. The mattress was very soft, the sofa very comfortable, the wet room shower was a pleasure and the kitchen has everything needed. 2 mins walk to the town centre, we wish it was ours to be honest!

The soft mattress wasn't suitable for me, but I still slept.

A lovely relaxing weekend away in a beautiful location.

I highly recommend staying here. The apartment is well equipped, pristine, with the added benefit of being within walking distance to the quaint little town which has some lovely pubs, shops and close to the beach. You can dine out or in. Tanya is a fantastic host and is very quick to respond to messages. She gave us some great recommendations for places to see and eat. We had the added bonus of bringing our little dog who enjoyed it as much as us. Buncrana is a beautiful place which is definitely worth a visit.

Superb

Perfect location to beach and to town only 5 minutes walk away. staff were excellent they were very flexible with the arrival and check out times and even allowed us to leave our bags at the property before check in so we could make use of the day. Communication was great throughout with host and would message back promptly Great facilities fridge glasses etc and the TV included netflix and YouTube

only issue was the bed was kinda uncomfortable

The host was amazing at answering our questions really promptly, which was brilliant, she offered alot of recommendations which wer really helpfull, the apartment is exceptionally clean comfortable and had modern appliances, with everything you need to stay in or go out. Decor was very tastefully done. We will definitely be staying again in this wee gem only perhaps for longer next time.

Perfect place to stay

Nothing negative to say about this holiday apartment. Superb location, walking distance to the town and beach. Plenty of good pubs and restaurants to choose from. Bus service to Derry and Letterkenny. The apartment is fully equipped, cooking utensils, hairdryer, towels etc.Spotlessley clean and comfortable with a seating area out the back to relax in the sunshine.

Excellent property and location

Small downside, me and partner sat on the bed after we arrived and the bed timber slats below snapped on the bottom left, we believe were put underneath the mattress upside down which caused this, after examining the slats we could see it cracked that would have been impossible to happen if it were not installed correctly. Just a minor point, that didn't negatively affect the overall experience.

Most times we go away on holiday we look at the pictures of the booking .com it looks lovely but when we get there I have to start cleaning the place and removing cushions from the seetee as the smell of dogs and how dirty some places are yet the pictures show such a lovely clean. Place but its not but in this case this place was spotless didn't have to clean anything it was the same as the photos on booking.com it was so clean and everything that we needed to cook with the shower in the bathroom was so powerful the bed was so comfy and smelled lovely and clean everything was amazing. I loved it brill 👍 up from betty Charles and Tilly m cnally thanks again

We were ten minutes walking into the town were there loads of pubs and restaurants and from the house there were a couple of pubs as well we will defo come back as the place was pet friendly there was no doggy smells it was so clean and it was great we can bring our dog with us as well see yous soon thanks mcnallys
