The apartment was in a perfect location with a short walk into town. The apartment was close to some fantastic shops, cafes, and restaurants. The butcher and deli across the road sold the most delicious home cooked food. The local markets were wonderful.

The stairs. They could be a struggle for visitors that are less able, particularly when transporting luggage. Having to collect your key from another address was a bit of an inconvenience. It would have been a thoughtful touch to have at least a bottle of water and a baguette waiting for us on arrival, especially after a long journey. As we didn’t have a car, getting to the shops straight away wasn’t easy, so a few basic provisions would have been greatly appreciated. The church bells next door rang on the hour and half hour 24 hours, so sleep was a little disturbed.
