Casa Reale City Living by Sterling

The location is fantastic near everything Ten min walk from bus therminal Staff were lovely Our room was very spacious and out door terrace and hot tub was a great surprise Breasfast was great We had a very detailed and wellcoming message from our host before we arrived

We had no issues at all during our stsy

It was modern, clean and comfortable with good breakfast. The AC was a mild one that you can sleep with.

There was no hot water but it seems to be a theme in Malta

Great location, lots of the main sites on the doorstep or short 5/10 minute walk away. Also lots of bars, shops and restaurants on hand too. The room was huge and despite it being very central and in a busy area the room itself was very quiet. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and a decent breakfast was included. I arrived early before check in time. I was able to store luggage and wander in time to see the Battery gun at 12 and the kind lady who let me in sent a WhatsApp when the room was ready which was before the official check in time.

On my way from the airport I hadn't noticed the WhatsApp message with clear directions and instructions on how to enter the property (that was on me) but I was let into the property from the jewellers store next door by a friendly counter assistant which I thinks doubles as 'hotel reception. The lady was very helpful. I knew before hand from previous reviews, there is no direct access to the property by car/bus/cab. I could maybe have been more proactive but my cab dropped me at the bottom of a big hill, so there may be better places to dropped initially especially if having luggage or mobility issues. Might be worth asking the hotel directly before hand. On leaving I walked mostly on the flat to a small square and roundabout near Castile Hotel/ Square to get a cab to next destination. Maybe that helps someone.

The hotel is very centrally located on the Republic Street so close to restaurants and cafes. The cathedral is also close by. The staff at breakfast were very friendly. We requested a quiet room and can confirm this room was away from any noise on the street.

We would have preferred someone in reception when we arrived. However, we did receive clear instructions by text on how to access the hotel and room. The breakfast room was small and not a lot of space between tables. Whilst it was good that cooked breakfast was freshly prepared, I would have liked more choice of rolls and breads, etc. Our room was spacious but the ensuite facilities looked a bit make shift, ceiling needs painting and shower fitment loose
