Camera pulita e ben arredata, letto comodissimo, bagno in comune pulitissimo. Un profumo gradevole in stanza e in tutta la struttura

So this is more like a short term stay in a collective rather than a b&b. The room was very big, with plenty space in wardrobes etc and the bed was comfortable enough. This is good. There is a laundry machine and dryer, which is a plus. On the downside with that, the dryer is very inefficient and the charges for that are higher than at a normal laundromat, which is a bit strange from a hospitality point or view. There is a kitchen available, which is also a good feature.
The main issue is the location.
The listing is somewhat misleading — it's a small part of a property surrounded by scaffolding and active construction on both sides. While the location advertised might not seem dramatically different on a map, the reality is very different: instead of the hillside of town, you're squeezed between two busy streets, with ongoing renovations right next door. It's far from a peaceful city retreat.
On arrival, there was no personal greeting, despite the specific instructions provided.
Instead, I was welcomed by the sound of constant drilling for the first hour+ of my stay. The next morning, I was woken up at 7:20am by persistent hammering. I understand that construction isn't under the owner's control, but it’s also not just a minor, temporary inconvenience — it’s clearly part of the current state of the property, and should be disclosed honestly in the listing.
The bathroom situation could also definitely be made more clear.
The listing does not in anyway highlight that the bathroom is private, expect for in one part of the description (the other part explains the bathroom while describing of the room). In reality, it's shared among several guests. I'm sure I was unlucky, but waiting over an hour to access the bathroom in the morning is far from ideal.
In summary:
Please be more transparent in your listing. This is a shared space — more like a student-style collective — located in the middle of an active construction zone. If that were made clear (and the price adjusted accordingly), guests could set their expectations appropriately. Honesty goes a long way.
