Excellent house for four persons, in the heart of this nice little village.

The house is very comfortable since each bedroom has its own private shower and one room also has a private toilet. So we both had a private part, like in a hotel, and also a shared large sitting room with TV and kitchen. Perfect for two couples. The host was very helpful, arranging taxi for us from the bus stop to the house and helping with luggage transport on our departure. (We did not have a car)

We had different views on the beds. One person in our party found it far to hard for her.

An amazing stay at an amazing location

We loved the location of the property in the village, with easy access to restaurants, cafes and the amazing countryside surrounding us. The supermarket was a short drive away and easy to find. The heating in the house worked perfectly, keeping us warm even on chilly evenings. WiFi worked very well. Even when cars drove right past our window, we heard nothing due to the double-paned windows. Mateos was an amazing host, showing us around the town when we arrived, pointing out the best places to eat and kindly offered us our first drink of Sancerre wine. We would happily come here again, hopefully in warmer weather!

Just one small suggestion - in the small upstairs bedroom it would be great to have a shade for the window to block out the morning light, just like there was for the larger bedroom. But it was not a huge issue for us. :)

Aufgrund der Hitzewelle wäre ein Sonnenschirm auf dem Balkon schön gewesen, der fehlende Platz in den Schlafzimmerschränken.

leuk, maar te kort! we komen zeker terug!

De accomodatie was zeer ruim met "all it takes". Gezien de hitte was ook alles afgesloten tegen de zon, en niettegenstaande geen arco was heel het verblijf fris, en bleef zo de ganse nacht. Verblijf was ook op wandelafstand van restaurants en "places to see", dus ideaal!

Il n'y a plus de boulangerie à Sancerre. Par contre le dépôt de pain, très proche, ouvre à 8h30 et c'est de très bonne qualité.
