The house is generous in size, and generously equipped with most things you would need, and some that one does not need every day.

I was happy with everything. I would say that it is not suitable for people who cannot go up and down stairs.

Everything was perfect, a beautiful house in a lovely location, the property is finished to a high standard Everything you could need , location was great right in the centre of sancerre , thank you for the best stop on our trip through France.

The only issue could be parking , it was OK for us , there is on street parking nearby.

A very enjoyable, comfortable ,and well equipped base from which to tour the town and local area.

A magnificent old building with a stone spiral staircase. The property was extremely well equipped, comfortable and warm even in the cold weather we had when we stayed there. Our host replied very quickly to the couple of queries we had, and was extremely welcoming with a bottle of local white wine in the fridge for our arrival.

Returned home (France) last week from a fantastic stay, with friends, at this property. It will not disappoint you. Everything is of the highest quality and in a quiet position. The property has been beautifully restored and to a very high standard. The gite is very well equipped and very spacious.

Wine tasting weekend with family

The apartment was very tastefully decorated. It was very well equipped, it had everything you would need in the kitchen. Fabulous China plates. Glasses for every possible drink. It was warm. Gorgeous dining table and sitting area. Bedrooms beautiful with lovely bathroom. Definitely somewhere I look forward to returning too.

The Gite was outstanding. Although the pictures look amazing they still don’t do it justice as to how lovely this property is. The open plan ground floor living, dining and kitchen are lovely and well thought out to have sense of space but also feel homely and comfortable. The bedrooms with their own en-suites are absolutely huge and tastefully decorated. The courtyard to sit out and have a drink was quaint and picturesque. Alice was a delight to deal with and extremely helpful. We were offered a tour of the family Vineyard, which was also fantastic. If you want to explore Sancerre, then this is the place to come. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic, in 1 word. Super complete, spacious, clean... We've enjoyed every minute Few thing to mark - the door between the hall and living is way too low. Of course, it's me but I found myself in the floor the 2nd day - there is no electrical charging in Sancerre or around that's working. With am EV it's not easy to move around - don't forget to book a restaurant on most evenings ;-)

Très agréable découverte du village de Sancerre et de sa région !

Le gîte est très bien situé à proximité du petit centre du village de Sancerre. C'est une demeure historique avec beaucoup de cachet, et très bien équipée. Globalement nous avons toutefois été très bien logés et l'hôte était agréable et accommodant.

Petit revers de la médaille, le chauffage est compliqué dans ce genre de maison et l'escalier qui permet de de naviguer entre les chambres et la pièce de vie est glacial en hiver.
