3 Bedroom Exclusive Private Pool Villa Smooth as Silk

This villa is just incredible. The pool area is so relaxing. The beds are extremely comfortable. The whole villa is a little gem and we are already planning to come back. The owners were so lovely and very accommodating

The villa is in a quiet location and very private, though an easy 20 ish minute flat walk to the Landmark Night Market, beach, restaurants, bars etc. We walked back or took a Tuk Tuk for 200 Baht, about £4.58 on todays rate. It's a very well laid out villa, only 2 of us stayed so had the choice of the three double bedrooms but plenty of room for 6 people. It was also great to have air con in the sitting/dinning room, not just the bedrooms. The villa seems to be pretty new, its in great condition. Swimming pool is lovely, very warm. Liew, the host, arranged for us to visit James Bond island and to do a cookery course, all arranged before we flew out, both excellent, we were picked up and dropped back at the villa so nice and easy. Also arranged for us to be taken to the airport after our stay. We spent 10 nights at the villa. Booked 11 as had a late flight so this gave us an extra day which worked perfectly. Dining out is so cheap we didn't bother trying to cook, just bought bread for toast and some nibbles for lunch from the 7/11 (Plenty about) and fruit locally . There was a separate drinking water tap in the kitchen so no need to buy bottled water (which was super convenient) The Thai people are all very friendly and the locals all said hello and waved when they saw us walking, its such a friendly place. If like us, you would rather stay in a villa with a private pool and plenty of privacy but be close to restaurants and bars to dine out if you want at your leisure and see local people, shops, markets and some of local life rather than be in a hotel where you could be anywhere in the world with sun and not get a feel for the country then I would say that this is an ideal villa to choose. It helped give us an amazing holiday.

The vibe and the concept of the villa - is lovable. We the whole family really enjoy it.

The gate has no lock - and the lighting of the entrance could be more brighter.

There is an extra charge for the usage of electricity. Even though it is a small amount for us but I guess it would be better if they absorb the cost.

Location! Nestled in amongst sensational greenery. There is a divine local presence of food stalls and community close by. Architecture! The villa is beautifully designed with some nice built in features. So nice to have two bathrooms. Very clean and well maintained. A lot of well thought about extras like washing powder, clothes drying racks, coat hangers etc. Host will assist you with getting around. Locals tuk tuks and Uber can access it easily. Grab is great, it’s the Uber there, and will deliver food to the door.

6thb per unit of electricity is expensive. My friend and I stayed 5 nights. We did our washing in the machine, our bedroom and the dining aircons were not on all the time and we were not using spa pool bubbles constantly. I did get excited at all the ways the villa could be lit up with the selection of lights available though…we paid $170AUD. That’s a few months worth of electricity in Australia. Also, Paul is wanting to sell the villa. He is quite vocal and was sending out written documentation about it which was never requested. Since we are there to holiday it felt pushy him bringing it up repeatedly. It’s not in the booking.com but the pool may also need to be cleaned whilst you are there and he will pop over to do this when it suits you. It gets done weekly. He will be in touch via WhatsApp. He did it when suited us. It’s nice it is maintained just be aware this will cost you electricity.

I am writing to highly recommend Mr. Paul and his villa in Karabi, near Ohnang Beach. We stayed at the villa for almost a week in July 2023, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The villa is beautifully located in a quiet, secluded area, just a short way from the beach. The property is spacious and well-maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms are large and airy, and the bathrooms are spacious and modern. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a nice dining area that can comfortably seat up to 6 people. The living area with a great view is perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The highlight of the villa, however, is the swimming pool. It is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. We spent hours swimming, lounging in the sun, and playing games in the pool under the rain. It was the perfect way to cool off and relax after a day of exploring. Mr. Paul was an excellent host. He was very welcoming and helpful, and he went out of his way to make sure we had a enjoyable stay. He provided us with a detailed welcome pack, which included information about the area. He even gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and activities. We would highly recommend Mr. Paul's villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious vacation in Krabi. It is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the beauty of the Thai coast.
