Amazin jungle sanctuary

Beautiful jungle setting, very peaceful and relaxing. The hotel feels like a hidden retreat surrounded by nature. The room was comfortable and nicely designed, the pool area was lovely, and the staff were kind and attentive. A perfect place to unwind and disconnect.

Experience the energy of the this resort.

Satrya was awesome and very friendly. Always willing to help and we had some nice chats. The energy of this place is very calming as it is very beautiful. The plants, surroundings, water and everything was magical. Food was also great and the massages super. Go walk in the river valley, but remember your camera or phone to take lots of pictures.

You feel really special while staying here !

You feel truly special while staying here. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. We also had dinner at the hotel one night — it was wonderful. Great value for money. The only thing is, if you’re very sensitive to sound, you might need to sleep with earplugs — not because of traffic or anything, but because it’s in the jungle and you hear birds. I would stay here again and again. A place with amazing staff and interns — they’re all fantastic.

Pramana Giri - a hidden gem in Ubud

Pramana Giri Kusuma is a true hidden gem, tucked away in the middle of a lush rain forest. Upon arrival you are wrapped in calm, from super cheeky and friendly koi carp at the hotel reception, to the restaurant and pool area and finally, in the bedroom accommodation. Staff are genuinely friendly, attentive (without being overbearing) and the food - wow, amazing with a generously wide variety of options to suit all dietary needs. Also very reasonably priced for those travelling on a budget that want a little luxury treat. Daily shuttle to Ubud was great We would definitely stay here again.

Unforgettable jungle stay

The hotel is stunning, close to nature with very quiet and calm environment. Love the room with green scenery. The staff is very helpful. My mom loves it, will definitely come back!

If you don’t mind to stay away from the city center, then it’s a great place. They do have shuttle bus though, takes around 30-40 mins.

Most activities have to be reserved a day advance considering the outside location; there wasn't many things to do and not convenient for our family. The place seems to be perfect for senior guests; however, the location and facilities would make that challenging.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pramana Giri Kusuma. The hotel is truly beautiful, perfectly nestled in the heart of the forest, offering breathtaking views all around. Best place ever!!

This resort absolutely exceeded our expectations! Starting off with the extremely kind and friendly staff (special kudos to Kadek, Satrya, Eni and Adi, who were really professional and made our stay smooth and amazing!), and the ambient left us speechless from the very start - two minutes from the main street and you're already surrounded by the scenic views of the jungle, definitely a one-of experience. The one-bedroom apartment was extremely clean and cleaned twice a day, overlooking the jungle from a height felt like a fairy tree-house. There's also a shuttle vehicle which you can order at any time to/from your room, which made us feel safe when coming home late at night. The resort is full of wonderful activities that recharge your batteries (e.g. 180 minutes romantic SPA package, morning yoga in the canyon). I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone!

There is not a single complaint. This is by far the best place we ever stayed in.

Wonderful Stay in a Forest Paradise

Paradise in the tropical forest

Pramana is north of Ubud, secluded in a patch of tropical forest, hence very quiet, other than the sounds of nature. Our bungalow had a bathroom-bedroom-terrace structure, with the open bathroom next to the alley and the terrace facing the forest. an additional open "bathtub" was next to the main room. During nights, you will hear small animals or birds around your bungalow, to be expected, but nothing to be concerned about. Additional points to Pramana for "hiding" all technology, including the A/C (Daikin, by the way, very quiet).

We had two bungalows, one for adults, one for our 2 children. As each bedroom has 1 king size bed only (no twin beds options was available) we asked for an additional bed for the children and paid for it an additional fee, which is kind of strange, as the room was used only by 2 persons. Additional tax should be on additional guests, not additional beds. Also, if you are keen on privacy, having an open bathroom next to the alley, with a wall not that tall, could be an issue for some.

A Culinary Gem in the Middle of the Jungle

One of the highlights of my stay at Pramana Giri Kusuma was the food. The restaurant offers a variety of traditional Balinese dishes and international options, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. Every meal felt like it was made with love—from the fragrant spices to the perfectly cooked meats and fresh vegetables. I especially loved the breakfast overlooking the jungle—such a peaceful and inspiring way to start the day. The staff in the restaurant were also fantastic: attentive, friendly, and happy to explain each dish. Add to that the tranquil spa, breathtaking canyon views, and a sacred spring for Melukat, and you have the perfect combination of comfort, nature, and spiritual energy. A truly unforgettable experience!

A wonderful experience that we won’t forget.

We wanted a few days to show the kids something different about Bali, and use the travel time to explore more of the culture. This delivered ! The property is located in what feels like the heart of the jungle. The surrounding puts you with nature- you share your space with all the animals/trees/insects/ sounds that would naturally occur, but it’s not a scary experience at all- very humbling. The team were delightful and the food exceptional. It is very quiet- with limited facilities in comparison to your large hotel options, but that adds to the charm. You can hire a taxi and visit numerous places off site and then return for relaxation around the pool. Sleeping up in the tree huts was an experience we won’t forget. For a family a few days would be enough as kids could get bored quite quickly but if you wanted escapism this is the place for you.

We loved it but if you wanted activity and everything on your doorstep this may not be right for you. It’s far more about experiencing nature and having a mind blowing opportunity.

The Resort is really beautyful, the restaurant was very good and personal was so kind an food was perfect. Swimming pool was very nice. Our cabin was very luxury. Everything was there. I want to thank the staff from Pramana Giri Kusuma for helping with my wife when she became very sick. In 1 word Perfect !!!! We will come back !!!!!

Absolutely incredible and unmissable

This place is absolutely incredible. You’re right inside the rainforest, the grounds are breathtakingly gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful. Everything was perfect- the food at the restaurant was great, the activities provided were fantastic (we did the canyon trekking, which was amazing!) even the beds were super comfy. The staff were wonderful and so helpful as well, especially Satria, who helped us out with a number of things during our stay and was incredibly kind. It was a bit of a once in a lifetime stay, we’re so grateful we came. We actually didn’t leave the accomodation for 3 out of our 4 days there, we loved it so much. Thank you to the staff for everything, Remy and Joe :)

Beautiful and relaxing

Beautiful space, staff were lovely, spa and facilities amazing. Really enjoyed our stay it was so relaxing.

About 30-40 mins from Ubud which we didn’t quite realise before we got there but made for a fun scooter ride in. Once something got wet, there wasn’t any sunlight reaching our room so it would not dry. These weren’t really issues as the laundry was done each day.

Peaceful, serenity and relaxing.

The property is breathtaking. If you are looking for serenity you will find it here. The view of the jungle is second to none and it is absolutely stunning. The staff were amazing, especially the main host Satria. He was lovely, friendly and so accomodating. The decor is well thought out and the pool area is beautiful! Breakfast each morning we absolutely loved!

The only thing I would comment on would be that the bath in our room took too long to run and if we were to have one, we needed to plan it hours in advance and by then the water would be could from running for hours. I’d probably also say that it would have been nice to have a tv in the room to watch and relax in bed after a big day of exploring ubud. Given that room service ends at 10:00pm and there is nothing else to do at the hotel, a television would have been nice to relax and watch a movie.

Nature lover’s paradise and best staff

This is the ultimate place to experience the jungle and immerse oneself into nature. The stunning river canyon, holy spring and lush gardens, lovely balcony overlooking the river valley were a nature lover’s dream. Birdlife was fantastic too. Staff was kindest and very attentive. Beautiful touches in the rooms with a super comfy bed. Great food too, especially the breakfast was outstanding. Loved the swings in the restaurant. Thanks for a perfect stay.

Healing sanctuary - sadly more like an Instagram children's playground!

Beautiful suites, spa, sacred canyon and holy water. The staff were so kind, gentle and helpful too.

Non-stop self-obsessed, selfie-takkng, tik tok/instagrammers - screeching and shouting/screaming across the entire restaurant, all because of a swing we were told is 'world famous', in China! They turn up either in pj's or near-naked and have zero interest in nature or the healing sanctuary, only themselves and video calling friends to livestream/instagram every single second... be it breakfast, lunch, afternoo tea or dinner! They absolutely 100% ruined our stay and we chose to leave this beautiful healing sanctuary most days rather than witness their shockingly selfish behaviours. So disrespectful and disgraceful - sadly the staff said they were powerless to do anything about them. Very sad as such a beautiful location too. The owner put so much love into designing what is described as a healing sanctuary on their website but in reality what we experienced was nothing short of a kindergarten... not the experience we had hoped for and our reason for choosing this sanctuary.

Simply AMAZING

Everything. The place was clean, it felt like a home and also the nature surrounding everything gave such a comfortable and unique vibe. Staff was always friendly and they made me feel so welcome.

From the street to the reception there was a dog (might have been the dog of someone with a yard nearby by the looks of it). It was agitated and when riding a scooter near it i was kinda afraid he would jump. Not exactly the resort's fault but I would love if they could secure the way with a fence, nothing fancy. Especially since dogs are a huge problem for tourists in Bali.

A very nice get away into the jungle. Had a very relaxing experience.

I loved the room's design and all the delicate details, especially the flowers on the bed and the decorative accents.

The Jacuzzi was supposed to be the highlight, but it was broken. A failed attempt to fix it was made, but no apology or reimbursement was given. The spa was very run down, and the towels and room ambience smelled bad.

Healing at the Jungle

From the moment you check in to the moment you check out you will come across amazing people with the warmest smiles! Your friendliness and genuine care will go a long way! The resort is honestly out of this world! There are many activities at your door step. For instance, you can start your day with a trek down the sacred canyon and top it off with a massage by the very talented ladies who were able to find all the stress knots. The following day go for a spiritual cleaning down by the canyon and allow your soul to rest. End your day with a delicious meal at the restaurant with waitresses and waiters dressed in their beautiful traditional clothing! On our arrival we had a little issue with the room given to us and the problem was solved with such positivity that I felt bad for even raising the issue. Huge shout out to the amazing receptionist team! We will most definitely be back.
