The place is nice and clean

I had not understood that the bathroom would be shared. The kitchen has no microwave. The main problem is that the tram makes the floor vibrate a lot and they run until relatively late at night.

Amazing accomodation, comfortable room, bed and plenty of space. Room had plenty of space to lay stuff out, and also had a wardrobe, though I did not use it. Great bathroom, awesome showers. Great shared kitchen area. Very close to tram stations that will take you right to main station and other connecting stations.

Ran out of dish soap to clean dishes the second night. There were no hand towels in the bathrooms. Lack of cleaning stuff (rags) to clean up after yourself in the kitchen.

The room was not as advertised, the kitchenette did not have cooking facility like hot plate or microwave. We have to use a shared kitchen. This is not what we have paid for. The day we entered the room was smelly with urine smell. Not sure if it was used and not cleaned. Also the room was damp and smelly due to no proper ventilation. On one night the at 12.30am guest were knocking our door so let them in. Kitchen facility was poor without any cooking facility, even though it was advertised as kitchenette. The damp and smelly room. The noise from the road (especially tram), due to the underground location. Very rude responses from the owners, not professional at all. Requested for bathroom mat and they didn't even bother to respond.

Prestine location, 200 m to tram station. Very clean and spacious rooms, easy and smooth self-check in and check-out.

area of town was very quiet with few shops. this wasnt the best value for money as its essentially a hostel but at hotel prices (though recognise Zurich is more pricey than other EU cities)- the rooms were a bit tired- the check in process was fine when it happened but relied on sending texts with the information which came quite late. that said it was comfortable enough.

A cheap one-night option

Next to a tram stop, with direct line to the main station (20 minutes). Clean and comfortable room. Kitchen well equipped.

Shared bathroom (one between 3 rooms ) was not great - had to wait considerably for access. The place is completely unstaffed, so there is no-one on hand to ask, or assist with problems.

BAD CLIENT SERVICE

Good: Common areas Bad: Room located in an attic, my head hit the gabled ceiling and beams; room smelled of cigarette smoke, very unpleasant; little flexibility to send the entry code. I asked for it to be sent to me at 12 because my battery was running out, and the owner simply REFUSED to send it to me at that time, even though I wasn't supposed to check in at that time, but at 3 p.m. according to the house rules. He sent me the code two hours later, so I didn't check in until 7 p.m. when I was able to charge my phone again and see the access code. Lack of empathy, really! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT DUE TO POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Great stay. This was a community living, however very peaceful stay and great location (outskirts of Zurich). You can enjoy great views as this is at some elevation.

A lovely place for a short stay in a convenient location

The location was in easy reach of several tram lines and there is a pleasant walking path down to the riverside. The room was charming and spacious, with historical features. The kitchen was good although short of some essentials like cutlery (spoons) and mugs. The bathroom was nice and spacious.

The bed linen (sheets and pillowcases) was not at all soft, it was quite rough to the touch. The duvets were unusually heavy or compacted. Other guest/s sharing the bathroom were not considerate about cleanliness.

you will be sleeping with your head 1 meter away from one of the main traffic roads with tram and bus going every few minutes. Never had a hotel that loud in my life. If you close the windows you will suffocate as the room is very small.
