Aspen Alps Apartment #115
This 1200 square foot apartment is located on the top floor of the building just steps from the heart of Aspen. It is also a dog friendly apartment. There is a bedroom on each side of the hallway upon entering the apartment. The master has a king size bed with an updated ensuite bathroom. The guest room has two Twin beds, and the second bedroom is located off the hallway. At the end of the hallway you'll find the living and dining space with a wood burning fireplace. Prepare a meal on the grill found on the balcony and gather around the dining room table with seating for four. In the Den area next to the Living Room there is an extra King bed for additional guests with a partition to close it off this space. Enjoy all the Property Manager amenities while staying in this apartment: housekeeping, Wi-Fi, parking, Health Spa & Fitness Center, outdoor hot tub and pool, a full concierge desk, bell man services and business center services.

This rental had some very appealing qualities. Excellent location for exploring Aspen-walking distance to the gondola, parks, groceries, restaurants, shopping. Several good hiking trails also only a walk or quick drive to the trailhead. The unit itself overlooks the pool and hot tub and was partially updated and with the extra curtained off area that could be used as an additional bedroom functioned more like a 3 BR than a 2 BR, which was nice. The unit was clean though the carpet us due to be replaced, but that was no big deal. There were two surprises that ended up working out but could have been troublesome: the unit has no air conditioning. We were visiting in July in a heat wave, and when we first arrived, the room was so stuffy, and we worried we were going to have a problem. However, once we got all of the windows open and the provided fans going, the air got moving, and since the temperature dropped down into the 50's at night, we were able to sleep comfortably. The second surprise was that there was no elevator. This ended up being a mild inconvenience as we were traveling with an infant who is still in a stroller, but again, this was not a deal breaker, just something I wish I would have known and planned for. Overall a pleasant experience.

My husband and I enjoy staying in this second floor condo located in Aspen's Core only steps from everything Aspen has to offer. Ski-In/Ski-Out next to the Gondola during the winter and only a few blocks to the Rio Grande Trail during the summer months for biking along the Roaring Fork River. Plenty of room for guests to visit and our dog to enjoy the vacation as well. We have been staying at the Aspen Alps for years and highly recommend it to friends and family.
