The place is located very centrally close to everything in the old town an a very short walk to the marina. The host was responsive and let us check in one hour early when the apartment was ready.

The place is awful. The pictures for sure don't resemble the reality and also cannot show the smell of naphthalene that the apartment is full of. The smell is unbearable and it makes you not want to be in the apartment longer than you have to. The place is old and definitely needs some work done, apart from the bathrooms that were both ok. Another big problem is the noise. I really wish I had read the reviews regarding that. There is noise from the other flat throughout the day but especially during the night until 2am. there is also someone learning drums on building. The place is also full of some small flies that bite (I've had this happen also in another hotel in Cagliari so not sure if its a general problem). And last but not least, the terrace is absolutely not as it seems in the picture. When I looked at the photos it seemed as a nice place to sit during the day and night as the weather was amazing. The reality: you cannot even step out to throw the trash (which is not inside the kitchen) as you cannot stand there because of the awful smell and on top of that there is a pigeon nest with newborn pigeons. All in all its better to spend a bit more money to stay at a descent place.
