Absolutely Outstanding!

This was a short stay for us, during our travels back towards the United Kingdom. We decided to book the property as we would be arriving into Dieppe late at night. This was so we could get a well needed rest before our ferry the day after. Where do I start?... I think the best word to sum up this stay is 'Outstanding'. Here's why; The host gave us very detailed instructions on how to access the property and all of the added information they provided in the guest book such as, local restaurants, and things to do in the area was a lovely touch. The studio apartment was spotless, cosy and comfortable. Every effort has been made to make this apartment both practical and stylish. The smart TV meant that we could watch lots of shows from the comfort of our bed. The bed was very comfortable with lovely soft sheets. The shower was spacious and shower gel and hand wash was provided by the hosts as were towels. I was extremely pleased as the kitchen had a wide variety of utensils and amenity's to fit most needs, such as: A coffee machine with coffee pods, a kettle, tea and plenty of cups, plates and cutlery. They even included some sweets that made my wife and I feel very welcomed. The property was located a short walk from local restaurants, eateries' and shops and was just a 3 to 5 minute drive from the Dieppe ferry terminal. What a great location! To finish, The hosts were outstanding! They went above and beyond to assist us with any query or problem we may have had. I can not fault this property and we will definitely be returning to stay again.

From start to finish everything was so straightforward, one of the best apartments we have stayed in, loved Dieppe hope

It had everything we needed we could not fault it in anyway, close proximity to the town centre.

Lovely apartment, very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay.

A very well equipped apartment. Everything you would need for a self catering stay. Easy walking distance from the ferry terminal and to the town centre. The best equipped kitchen we have had in any apartment. Beautifully decorated too. Great shower and bathroom. Well thought out for storage if you were staying longer. Overall one of the best apartments we have ever rented.

We had some late night noisy neighbours but that is not the fault of the property. WiFi did struggle a little too.

Relaxing & enjoyable.

It was very clean, tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts responded very quickly to our messages. Parking was easy and the main town was only a short walk away.

Only 1 comfortable sitting chair. Maybe another one there instead of the display would be better.

It was okay for a quick stay in Dieppe.

The studio was quite spacious. The check-in was really easy and smooth with the given instructions. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen looked alright if we wanted to. Communication was very good.

When we entered the studio, it smelled a quite like cigarettes and felt humid. We tried to open a few windows, but the front window was easily accessible from the street, so we didn’t feel comfortable to open it completely (safety-wise). The neighbourhood was ok, but wouldn’t really feel safe for a woman on her own. Lastly, we got towels for the shower (2), but we didn’t get a smaller towel for the bathroom sink.

Passable

They have made an effort with the style of the room: there is a theme and some nice decoration and it's well laid out. The shower room is also quite modern. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and there's a big fridge/freezer too.

There were several problems: -The apartments have wooden floors and the people in the apartment above clomped around really loudly from about 8pm to 11.45 pm each night and from around 8am to 10am each morning. It was really loud, as if they were stamping, and it made peaceful enjoyment or sleeping, whilst this was going on, impossible. - There were microscopic insects crawling around in the wardrobe which put me off putting any clothes in there. - There was some black mould on the ceiling of the shower. There were also a few little problems which could easily be addressed: - - the light bulb over the bed only offered a tiny amount of light. It needs a light bulb which is much brighter to make the room lighter. - the towels and bedding were really old and worn and need replacing. Also, the view at the back is of a brick wall and the view at the front is of a brick wall, across street. Finally, it's not the owner's fault but the street outside is absolutely littered with dog mess, something which we aren't used to in England. There do not appear to be any signs telling people not to let their dogs do this or any signs warning of fines. It doesn't make for a pleasant walk. This place would probably be okay for someone travelling for work but I would say it's not really a tourist place.

Perfect for a couple of days . Easy parking and close to everything you need to see and do in Dieppe

Great little studio. Every thing we needed for 2 nights. Easy walk into the harbor area and drive to catch the ferry. Good information about restaurants. We went to The Turbot- excellent.

Soundproofing not great. Had a few issues with noisy neighbors but hosts sorted very quickly.

Well located top floor flat which could have been perfect were it not for little issues encountered.

Centrally located for Dieppe and pleasantly furnished. The top floor location meant plenty of stairs to climb but equally lots of light and peace.

* Poor wifi speeds (2.1Mb download + 0.3Mb upload) meant we had to pay for 4G services. * Insufficient attention to some property detail, e.g. The bedroom doors opened by themselves (the wind) when the windows are open; the ceramic hob had not been cleaned with a ceramic scraper, hence looked a bit dirty.

cosy apartment away from the centre

It's a lovely and cosy apartment, really quite spacious and well-equipped. The remote check-in was very easy , the host were quick to respond to requests. The street is further away from the center and the cafés, but there are plenty of small shops and bakeries around.

One drawback is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor, which is reached by a very old and narrow staircase, which is really difficult with suitcases or for older travelers.

Great location. The apartment is well equipped. Quiet street 15 minutes from the town centre and 20 minutes walk from the ferry.

There was a really strong smell of bleach when we arrived but we managed to are the room to get rid of it.

Excellent stay with family

Very generous and friendly place. Everything you need is there. Good location and excellent communication with the staff (perfect self check in/check out), free parking just in front of the building.

Stairs are old (tide space) so my flat not recommended for people with mobility issues
