We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was lovely and had a very homely feel, which made it easy to settle in straight away. It was also wonderfully peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing break. We also loved how convenient the location was, with a bakery and grocery shops nearby. It only took us around 20 minutes to walk into town, where we enjoyed exploring the shops, the beach, and the Saturday market.
The mattress was a little firmer than we’re used to, though this is of course down to personal preference and wouldn’t put us off staying again. The stairs were also a bit tricky, especially with two young children and one of us having a bad knee, so it’s something to be mindful of when bringing luggage. That said, it didn’t take away from our overall experience and wouldn’t stop us returning.

We loved all the attention to detail and the wonderful welcome book! It was clean and obviously well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed and the communication was excellent.

They have made an effort with the style of the room: there is a theme and some nice decoration and it's well laid out. The shower room is also quite modern. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and there's a big fridge/freezer too.
There were several problems:
-The apartments have wooden floors and the people in the apartment above clomped around really loudly from about 8pm to 11.45 pm each night and from around 8am to 10am each morning. It was really loud, as if they were stamping, and it made peaceful enjoyment or sleeping, whilst this was going on, impossible.
- There were microscopic insects crawling around in the wardrobe which put me off putting any clothes in there.
- There was some black mould on the ceiling of the shower.
There were also a few little problems which could easily be addressed: -
- the light bulb over the bed only offered a tiny amount of light. It needs a light bulb which is much brighter to make the room lighter.
- the towels and bedding were really old and worn and need replacing.
Also, the view at the back is of a brick wall and the view at the front is of a brick wall, across street.
Finally, it's not the owner's fault but the street outside is absolutely littered with dog mess, something which we aren't used to in England. There do not appear to be any signs telling people not to let their dogs do this or any signs warning of fines. It doesn't make for a pleasant walk.
This place would probably be okay for someone travelling for work but I would say it's not really a tourist place.
