Do not stay here.

The apartment was not safe for children. We are in the process of applying for a refund. We knew there would be stairs to the apartment but inside, there were two flights of steep spiral staircases without any guards or railings to stop children falling down these. Obviously, we could not stay there with a 1 year old and a 3 year old as they could fall down these in the night. See the photos attached. We notified booking.com within 5 minutes of arriving who phoned the hosts to let them know we were leaving. Despite this, we had several rude messages from the host. We were left with two young children with nowhere to stay. Incredibly disappointed. Even without the safety problems, the loo had a hoover and cleaning products in, the windows opened fully with no locks and there was a metal grate in the floor upstairs. All of this makes this apartment unsuitable for children.

Location is spot on just a short walk from some free parking and near all the shops and restaurants you want. Also about 10mins from the ferry terminal at Dieppe as that is what we wanted

Not really the property’s fault but be aware you are right next to a large church and it is very loud from 0700 onwards so don’t expect a lie in

Apartment is in a great location for Dieppe, close to restaurants, beach, harbour and old city centre.

A functioning airconditioner. The small unit had no outlet for pumping the warm air out of the building.

TERRIBLE value for money.

Reasonably equipped kitchen area (expected items in pantry, etc). Excellent location in Dieppe on a quite small street. Walking distanEasy access to paid and free parking. Easy to get keys - smooth check-in / check-out process. Wifi was acceptable. Television with a handful of local channels was available.

HORRIFIC VALUE FOR MONEY. We booked an appt a price of US $816 for 2 nights (2-bedroom, sleeps 7). There were 67 narrow steps to the apartment with one way in and out. Had we had a suitcase or small children we never would have made it to the front door. Had there been a fire, we never would have made it to safety. Once in the front door there were another 15 or so steps to the bedroom. The "dining area" consisted of a home-made board/table hovering over an area of staircase (a portion of which was right at the edge of the staircase) and a slat of wood on another portion of staircase acting as a bench (see photos). We couldn't get it to stay open as a table so didn't use it. There was what looked like mold in the bathroom (see photos), the sheets were old, threadbare and, in the bunk bed area some bedding appeared stained. Four of the "beds" were tiny mattresses arranged on built wood shelves/bunks in a small room that I can only describe as a closet (see photos). Our 12 year old daughter could not stretch out her arms in the room without touching the walls (widthwise). There were no closets that we found and the only space for our bags was on the floor on the living area as there was not sufficient space in either bedroom around the beds. My husband could not stand up fully in most of the double bedroom space as the ceiling was slanted. While it was close to the city centre and (mostly) had the expected amenities (with the exception of towels- we were provided with two small towels only and had to request more). I understand that Dieppe is busy in the summer but we stay in accommodations in Dieppe often as my husbands elderly parents live there. In the 10 years we have been securing accommodations in Dieppe this is by far the worst value for money accommodation we have stayed in, and the worst accommodation we have booked.

Conforme à ce qu'on attend d'une location. Hôte sympathique.

Propreté, studio fonctionnel. Salle de bain et wc séparés. Calme, insonorisé.

L'annonce peut prêter à confusion. Lorsqu'on lis l'énoncé de la page on peut comprendre que notre location comprenait deux chambres. Mais vu avec notre hôte, personnellement la qualité de la prestation a suffit à effacer cette interprétation. Bien entendu je reviendrai volonté.

Petit séjour à Dieppe au calme dans un studio tout confort

L'emplacement, en plein centre ville donc proche de tout et dans une rue piétonne donc très calme. La propreté des lieux, les équipements. La communication avec le propriétaire.

La description du logement un peu trompeuse car commune à plusieurs appartements. Nous nous attendions à avoir au moins une chambre séparée et c'était finalement un studio (très bien au demeurant) L'odeur de tabac froid dans le logement non fumeur

Teleurstellende accommodatie op prima locatie

De ligging ten opzichte van het centrum en de haven

Erg smal (140 cm), erg laag (30 cm) bed waar je door de kleine slaapkamer met schuin dak slecht uit kan stappen. Zeepjes en sponsjes van vorige gasten lagen er nog voor gebruik, terwijl aanwezige zeeppompjes leeg waren. Daarnaast ontbrak het aan een degelijke stoel en eettafel om aan te eten. De foto’s en omschrijving (zeker geen design-appartement, eerder goedkoop interieur) geven een ander beeld dan de werkelijkheid is. Daar waar gasten eerder commentaar op hebben gegeven, is er niets mee gedaan dit te verbeteren. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is bedroevend. Wij betaalden €512,- voor 3 nachten. De stad Dieppe heeft veel goed gemaakt.

Top locatie, heel veel trappen, niet veilig voor (jonge) kinderen. Geld niet waard.

Locatie (in het centrum) gratis parkeren op loopafstand (ong 350 meter) Geen incheck, gewoon sleutel uit sleutelkastje gehaald.

Is op 4d etage hoog en is alleen bereikbaar met smalle trappen! Dit was niet bekend bij ons toen we dit appartement op Booking.com gingen boeken. Pas op de dag van aankomst kregen we een berichtje dat het appartement op bovenste verdieping bevindt. Ik heb bij aankomst gelijk de verhuurder gebeld en geappt maar hier konden ze niets mee. (Wij zijn een gezin met 3 kinderen waarvan een baby van 1 maand en een peuter van 3). Ik heb voor 2 nachten €485 betaald!! Achteraf vind ik dit appartement absoluut niet veilig voor kinderen. In hun informatieboekje geven ze ook aan dat het niet aangeraden is om kinderen onder de 6 jaar in de stapelbedden te laten slapen maar waarom nemen ze dan wel een boeking aan waarvan ik de leeftijd van de kinderen had doorgegeven?! Verder was het super stoffig in trappen gat en daar hadden wij in het appartement ook last van. De bedden (stapelbedden) zijn erg smal. Het gaat om een kleine tweepersoonsbed. Vwb airco: het is een mobiele airco in de woonkamer waarvan je de slang zelf uit het raam mag hangen. Ik begrijp niet waarom er niet gewoon een gat geboord wordt of een hoes geplaatst wordt zodat warme lucht buiten blijft. Keuken: inventaris was redelijk compleet echter sommige dingen zijn toe aan vernieuwing. (Geef op z’n minst een nieuwe schone spons). Dus locatie was echt goed en gratis parkeren in de buurt was fijn. Maar ik ben van mening dat ik echt te veel heb betaald voor het appartement. Door prijs geef ik dit appartement geen voldoende.

Leuke studio waar alles voor handen is. De ligging is heel goed, dicht bij alles en je kan in de buurt gratis parkeren. Fijn dat er een boekje ligt met info en tips !!! De host is heel vriendelijk en steeds makkelijk te bereiken.

Bon confort général et emplacement pratique

L'appartement est bien situé, bien équipé et globalement propre. La salle de bain est spacieuse, les serviettes de bain sont de bonne qualité, et la literie est correcte et propre. L'hôte a été réactif et disponible.

La chambre est juste à côté des escaliers en bois, ce qui peut occasionner du bruit, mais cela reste compréhensible pour un studio. La vaisselle était encore humide dans les placards. La cuvette des WC bouge et fait un bruit étrange.

Tout J'avais réservé 1 appartement avec 2 chambres . J'ai juste eu 1 studio avec 1 grand lit et 1 petit et Tout ça pour 380 € pour 3 nuit. Un vrai scandale. Marchand de sommeil. Personne de contact très négatif et prend les gens pour des Cons. Si vous n'êtes pas content , dégager et je vous rembourse 250 € . Enfoiré

Bon emplacement

L'annonce devrait être beaucoup plus précise. Certes il est dit qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur mais il devrait être précisé que l'escalier est très étroit et l'étage de chaque appartement devrait être mentionné dans l'annonce. Non seulement nous étions au 4ème mais il y avait encore un étage supplémentaire pour accéder aux chambres; les toilettes étant malheureusement à l'étage inférieur. La pièce avec les lits superposés n'est pas une chambre mais un placard et l'accès aux lits est très peu pratique. La chambre, correcte, donne malheureusement directement sur le séjour en contrebas avec une cloison en plastique dépoli transparent mais laissant passer la lumière car il n'y a pas de rideaux. La table, fixe, est très mal placée contre l'escalier avec un banc de 20 cm de large clouté à une marche de l'escalier réduisant encore le passage pour monter..Cette table est en plus placée juste en dessous d'une grille ouverte, d'une propreté douteuse, sur laquelle on marche pour atteindre les chambres. Si la description avait été honnête nous n'aurions pas réservé.
