stunning location with memorable
views. Restaurant served an unbelievable meal which i would go back for.
very comfortable room, large bed, great quality linen.
the electricity/switches in the room were so complicated you had to turn every switch several times. The bar fridge made a terrible noise.

Located in the middle of their stunning walled vineyards on the north coast of Pico. The architecture of the building was dramatic and brutalist. Breakfast was very good and pre-ordered to avoid waste. Parking was simple and access to the building after check-in was using a numerical keypad.

The room with its gorgeous view. It was a large room and you could see the vineyard and the ocean. It had a small kitchen that was well stocked and a fridge.
The location was quiet, but a car was required to get anywhere.
Breakfast was very good with eggs made to order .
Could have been given a better orientation when we checked in. The timing of the restaurant and the tasting room were not explained. We therefore missed our chance to try the restaurant.

large rooms
i was meant to climb Mount Pico early in the morning (the main reason why people visit this island): my meeting was at 8am in the town center so i have asked for some breakfast at 7:30am :
i have been told it was not possible because the staff starts at 7am… therefore nothing would have been possible before 7:45
