The entire experience from the first to the last minute was absolutely incredible. The house is beautiful and with a super cosy decor. Not to mention the huge garden that brings us peace and takes us into the middle of nature (you can even relax in a hammock!!). During our stay, we had a 30th anniversary and the accommodation offered us a (huge) cake and sparkling wine. All these treats make a difference and raise our expectations compared to other places.
Carolina (Reservation Manager) is lovely, super available and made us "feel at home"

I don't even know where to start. Anticipating changing corona measures, we made use of the private dinner services. Every day, we could schedule breakfast and dinner at a time of our choice, and the quality of the meals was exquisite, among the best food we had in Portugal.
Carolina, the host, was absolutely brilliant and made our stay perfect - some of the best services we enjoyed. An example: weather changed rapidly on a whale watching trip. With wind, waves and rain, even waterproof wear got soaked. Carolina offered to wash our clothing, and we were able to wear it again when climbing Pico mountain.
The villa itself is fantastic, and luxurious. Small details and facilities complete the experience: bluetooth speakers, a playstation (you don't need this), firewood, etc. We very much enjoyed the hot jacuzzi and cooling down in the pool outside. The view is amazing, changing every day. This was probably one of our best ever holiday experiences in terms of accommodation.
What is there not to like, apart from getting the property booked following our review now?

A one-year-old really high quality 4 bedroom villa. Really well presented with high-quality furnishings throughout. Stunning views and superbly quiet location. Very comfortable throughout and well supported with daily house-keeping and on request a cook too. All mod cons including aircon and high-speed internet. It's easy to pay 4 times the price in most parts of Europe and the Caribbean and get nothing better than this, Very highly recommended by a discerning traveller.
The swimming pool appeared to not be heated but the sea is nearby
