A beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place with everything you need. Beautiful decor, delightful garden, sitting under the shade of the mature tree surrounded by shrubs and flowers in the very hot weather was just lovely. Quiet location, easy to get to other places quickly. Walking and cycling from the property and a very short walk from a very good gastropub. This is a little gem and we plan to return.

Comfortable, practical but not luxurious. Bathroom modern and spacious. The accommodation was warm. The selection of cheeses, pickle and other provisions in the fridge on arrival. New and well equipped kitchen, and towels and lining provided for the stay. The accommodation is convenient positioned (near Canterbury and Whitstable) that will suit many and with the bonus of being dog friendly. The patio doors onto the garden helpful when taking the dog out. The 5 minute walk to the local pub (The Dove) which served excellent food.

The level of joining instructions from Bloom Stays were more like a series of demands. Arrive after 3pm not before, pay £250 damage bond, if you are bringing a dog pay additional £30 now. Please note any potential deductions will be taken from your security deposit. The sloping ceilings upstairs is a challenge for anyone over 4’10”! Be warned if you are like us and in region of 6ft tall - you will bang your head several times a day! The shower temperature control was tenaciously temperamental requiring precision movements to ensure scolding hot didn’t become freezing cold. It become a daily challenge to win the accolade of finding that perfect spot that was enough to achieve warmth but not enough to freeze. The boiler in the bedroom cupboard gave off an odd fume smell in the bedroom. We did not realise the bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom downstairs so if you have problems with stairs and needing to go to the loo during the night this may not be the best place.
