Vista Caravan Hire

A home from home enjoyed by our whole family.

This was a 'caravan' - but huge - one of those kinds that doesn't get towed around, more like a tiny home. It has two bedrooms, a small bathroom and even a separate toilet and hand basin ensuite for the main bedroom. The whole caravan is decorated full of comfort with heaps of storage. It felt like coming home. There are books, games, DVDs, a nice wide deck with furniture and, of course, it's near the sea, so we fell asleep listening to the waves. The good sized kitchen is extremely well supplied and it has a full sized fridge/freezer. It also has a dishwasher! Small but very usable. The kettle, toaster, dishes, cups and even the cutlery, all matched in design, which I thought was cute. There are plenty of pots and cooking utensils to use with the gas cooker. The lounge is huge, seating at least 8! There is a dedicated parking space beside it with a lockable post to prevent others using it. Very appreciated. The park has its own Club with a varied menu, a pool, and a playground that was very welcomed by all the kids. There is an extra charge for use of the pool and a communal laundry. Just down the road is a very good Chinese takeaway (they only take cash), a great fish & chip place, and a small, friendly supermarket. And the town of Whitstable is only a short drive away.

We hadn't realised how far it was from anywhere. We should have done more research, but it was actually a great place to unwind after a couple of days flying from the other side of the world.

It had everything we needed. Loved the Wrap around lockable balcony for the dog and all the storage and fresh towels.

We were there during a Kent water shortage which wasn’t ideal and they closed the park facilities for our first 48 hours - not the owners fault bit far from ideal. I think it would benefit from a second bin in the bathroom and an airer and pegs- there is a hair dryer which I don’t think is listed. I couldn’t find a fan which was.

Uncomfortable bed and sitting area shower screen was dirty morrow had tooth paste all up them cobwebs every were got woken up in the day by owner to say they was changing a bottle as caravan owners our self we wouldn’t of done that some one knows when there changing a gas bottle
