Seaside Mews - charming 2-bed cottage close to the sea

We greatly enjoyed our stay at your lovely cottage. Particularly your furnishing and coloring scheme exactly fit my tastes. The welcome gift of some food was much appreciated; we were quite hungry after the flight. The flat is most conveniently located just a few minutes from the seafront, less to some small stores, where you get supper or breakfast, and to family I was visiting in Eastbourne. The cottage is elegantly furnished with hardwood floors on the ground floor and upstairs sitting room and cream carpeting upstairs. Some care has to be taken of course, you need to take off your shoes to protect the carpeting. Easy entrance, there is a keysafe. There was an issue with the dishwasher. After we called, the landlady immediately came and took care of it. Very pleasant interaction. Sound carries in the cottage. So one person walking through the hall at night does not wake up the others in the second bedroom; earplugs might be a good idea.

This was our first holiday with our newborn (much needed holiday!) and this property met all our needs: sufficiently spacious, bright yet not too hot when the weather is hot outside, well-equipped kitchen and really comfortable bed. The location is also perfect - we could easily reach the promenade for our daily walk with our newborn. The parking for the car is a plus and we particularly like that the property was off the main road. Finally, the agency managing the property was very responsive and helpful.

The carpet and paint on the wall in the hallway could benefit from a refresh - however, overall the house was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we could not find a supermarket close to the property and the closest one we went to was 20min away by walk which is not always convenient.
