The location was very good and the room was clean and very comfortable

location was perfect for us. A short walk into the meeting points for tours. The room was comfy and huge shower bath was amazing with all the lights on the roof!! It is close to some great food spots and close to the harbour which is why we booked this room. If your heading off on a MSC cruise this is only a short walk with suitcases.
Nothing to do with our room but i wish the footpaths were a little smoother for our suitcases but we managed ok. Would have liked breakfast with our room but with cafes etc close by it didnt matter to much.

Location is excellent - close to the port and metro / close to the old town. We had the superior suite which was large.
Aesthetically, it all looks fine in the photos but there were a number of problems.
The check-in staff member was responsive to queries via WhatsApp.
This property needs a refresh / definitely not a 4 star accommodation.
Bed: uneven - mattress needs replacing.
Bathroom:
You need to step up into the bathroom / at night this could be a problem if you forget that there is a step right outside. There are small lights fitted into the step that you can leave which would help.
Basins: don’t drain - the pop up plug was broken in both basins so you had to pull it out to drain.
Shower and Bathtub - we had a jacuzzi tub with 3 shower settings - I would call it dangerous getting in and out of the tub as there are no handrails nor is there a platform for you to sit and swing your legs over into the tub. The hand held shower fitting was leaking so water would spray everywhere. Waterfall shower ran down the wall and water would flow onto the floor. The toilet and toilet paper was next to the tub -> wet! Grout around the tub had degraded and was loose.
The most disturbing thing is that all that water means that there is obvious mould growing in the grout lines around the tub and along the floor. It’s all very well having a jacuzzi but I would not sit in that tub with that level of mould around me. I would pull the whole thing out and install a walk-in shower.
Staff: this is not a hotel - we were met on arrival but after that only saw the housekeeping lady, who was very friendly.
