Very peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy a family holiday

The location was great, it is near to several beautiful beaches - however you must have a car to be able to reach the cottage and move around. The animals in the garden were a great entertainment for our 2 year old son - absolutely lovely to be able to feed the ducks, pigs and alpacas. The house is spacious and great for a family of 3 or 4 and the hot tub is a perfect addition to the house - we really enjoyed it.

The mattresses were not the most comfortable - very soft and the main bedroom mattress needs replacing, as you slide into the middle from both sides during the night. The kitchen wasn't that well equipped, it would be nice to have some small plates, an additional pan, extra chopping boards etc. - also we stayed for a full week and we only got 2 dishwasher tablets and 2 toilet rolls, I think if you have guests staying for a week, there should be sufficient tabs and toilet roll. You do not expect to buy these things yourself for the price you pay for this cottage. Other than that - a very lovely place to stay.

Cedar cottage was a beautiful bungalow and we very much enjoyed our stay there. We could access the hot tub at any time, which was great as in other places, there have been restrictions on this. The entire place was very clean and comfortable and on arrival, we were treated to wine and welsh cakes, which was so lovely to come in to. Lovely place, will be re-booking at one of the other cottages again soon, just to try one of the other properties.

The hot tub took a little while to warm up on the first night, but after that it was lovely and hot each time we got in.

everything about this property was fantastic. everything was so clean. the beds were so comfortable. I couldn’t recommend this stay enough.

it was lovely so relaxing and really clean

I know the fence out the garden is lovely and exactly the way it should be but we had a very small dog and I know maybe she wasn’t allowed to go through the fence but we didn’t want to spend the entire time keeping her inside or on a lead but Lula could get through the fence and when she did she loved it she was running around with the little pigs that were so so cute and having the time of her life lol but the alpacas came around and they were amazing bit all of a sudden they surrounded her and tried to stamp on her I think if we had been inside they would have stamped all over her 😞so glad we were out side and had to jump over to get her away from them nightmare I think you need to put something in place to let people know or some way of putting something around inside of fence just incase people bring a small dog it could have ruined everything my wife couldn’t stop crying after I’m sorry for writing this because everything else was amazing we both loved the place and want to come back but this deffinately needs looking at just to warn guests at least

lovely place with friendly staff and animals

Really friendly owners who were happy to spend time chatting with us. Lovely to interact with the animals and hear Carys’s passion for them. Our lodge was clean and got everything you need for a week away.

The beds were too soft for our liking. Unfortunately, the charging points installed at each property were not compatible with my EV so that was a bit disappointing.

Fantastic large property with hot tub, close to Tenby and attractions

Great location near Tenby, Saundersfoot and attractions with the Dinosaur Park, Folly Farm, Wildlife park all only a few miles away. The property has lots of space both inside and outside area, loved the hot tub to relax in after a long day and the animals that wonder up to your fence each day is really nice. My 3 year old daughter also loved the tour that can be arranged to meet the animals and feed them. Carys the owner was in contact by email and always replied with any questions.

We had a really relaxing stay.

Cottage was excellent - very clean with every home comfort you could want. Lovely welcome gifts on arrival, staff fantastic and very friendly. Children loved feeding the animals on site. Hot tub a real luxury. Family entertainment right on the doorstep (stunning beaches, castles, amusement parks and zoos all within 5-10 minutes drive). This is a really lovely bit of Wales.

The bed was a little soft for our liking. While the cottage is dog friendly there are no walks from site - had to jump in car to drive to a dog walk location.

Units are a little close together meaning noise and music from adjacent guests was quite disturbing. Electric car charger wasn’t working, but had a good discussion with the host and no doubt they will do what is required to fix. Wifi not working but fixed by host.

Even better in real life

Very peaceful surroundings to the cottage which itself has a very high quality finish being only recently built. We were really impressed with the set up, it felt very relaxing with a hot tub, bbq, log burner plus comfortable furniture. Best of all especially for our toddler is that it’s surrounded by wildlife. The goats were a particular hit! The host Carys was also excellent in communication from start to finish answering any questions we had even out of typical working hours. Convenient base for Tenby and all surrounding attractions.
