Lovely little stay at Hazel Cottage

Overall a lovely little stay. The cottage was well decorated and very comfortable. Kitchen appliances were good and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of exploring. The actual site is well presented and all the staff we had contact with were very nice. It's a good location for visiting the area although a car is essential Thanks for the lovely stay.

The hot tub was nice although no robes were provided (not a deal breaker but would have been a nice touch). Pots and pans could do with an update.

Two heaters didn’t work, master bedroom blinds were broken when we arrived, no scissors or scrubbing brush in cottage (something used everyday)

Nothing really, we had a dog friendly cottage and unfortunately someone has not cleaned up from their dog straight away so that left a mark on the carpet, but again the cottage was clean other than that.

An idyllic, friendly and classy little Pembrokeshire safari

The location was superb in that Hazel cottage is set back within a rural landscape with the friendliest goats and and good view of the alpacas at the front and meadows at the rear. With a decent A road within a few minutes the cottage has really good links to other Pembrokeshire destinations, we loved Tenby and Saundersfoot but also the marine land boat trip across the coastland Cardigan Bay. The cottage itself whilst compact had a good open floor plan downstairs, lovely clean and modern decor and all the facilities you could wish for including the BBQ and fire pit with comfortable seating and a deep hot tub to while away whatever stress you may have been feeling. Lovely additions were the doggy treats and little cushioned area which made it a home from home.

It couldn't be helped but the bedrooms got very hot being situated in dorma roof. We didn't have a good start with a collision with a HGV lorry on the nearby roundabout which is apparently a little notorious, however Carys couldn't have been more helpful and reassuring.

Great location and comfortable stay

Excellent location with easy access to all nearby attractions and lovely beaches. Kids loved seeing and feeding the animals on site.

One slight criticism is that towels were not up to the quality expected for this standard of accommodation. Also, separate towels should have been provided for use with the hot tub. Kitchen cookware also needs updating.

The accommodation was labelled 'pet friendly', which it was, but we were charged additonal £££ for taking the dog, which we were not aware of prior to booking, it's not the money but the priniciple.

Excellent cottage stay!

Excellently proportioned and modern. Log burner in the living room was great. Jacuzzi is excellent. Feeding the animals in the Koenig was great for the kids, but should have taken wellies!

Perfect stay at Hazel Cottage

The whole site was peaceful with the facilities as described. After a busy day it was lovely to get in the hot tub and relax Carys and Reece were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely bottle of wine a day bits and bobs waiting for us. A visit to the secret garden to see tge resident alpacas and pigs was lovely definitely recommend great place with everything you need for a break

Lovely cottage in a great location!

Really lovely accommodation. Super clean on arrival with nice bonus of little extras provided for us and our dog by our host Carys. Great location as near to a main road, so we were able to explore the area easily. Everything we needed was provided for our stay.

Can't think of anything to be honest. Maybe a bigger bed but it wouldn't fit in the room! Maybe the hosts need to state the cottage is on a development , and there is some building work going on...this did not disturb us at all, but maybe people should be made aware in advance. Absolutely not a problem for us though.

Carys was so friendly and helpful, made the stay even better! Lovely food nearby and close drive into Tenby & Saundersfoot. Our dog also loved her stay.

Perfect place to switch off and relax with peaceful surroundings

The courtyard garden was ideal but very bland and maybe a couple of recliner chairs could be added? Please replace the blunt knives. Minor tweaks but a truly lovely time enjoyed.

Fantastic stay

Loved everything about the property! Within 10 minutes of saundersfoot and Tenby, lovely cosy cottage, loved the hot tub! Carys was a great host and we loved the extra touches, really made our stay. Thank you! Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location, absolutely spotless and was fully equipped. Really modern decor and high end finish. Hot tub and log burner were fabulous. Carys was beyond helpful and was so friendly. Lovely touches with the little gifts... milk, marshmallows, wine, etc and dog chews and toy for our dog! Very rare you get dog friendly places that are so luxurious. Will definitely return!

lovely -relaxed - just what we needed

I am being very picky here but the TV is very high and it would be amazing if it was a smart TV so we had access to Net flix or similar. As I say, picky - cos struggling to think of negatives, more suggestion rather than a dislike. perhaps a sunbed of some kind and solar lights might be nice out back ?
