Acorn Cottage

The property was clean, comfortable and cosy. We brought our dog who had his own sleeping area, goody box of toys and treats on arrival (nice touch). We had fresh milk, sweet treats, wood to burn, honesty food and alcohol box and even food for the goats. The kitchen had everything we needed, utensils, salt, pepper, oil, tea , coffee etc. Bed was comfy with tv. Shower good. Had a small issue with hot tub as I couldn’t turn the temperature down (it was 35° outside, but I can’t really moan about a hot, hot tub!) nether the less, staff where at the door in less then 20 minutes and sorted it, thank you. Pigs, Lamas and Goats are fun for all ages. There is a welcome pack with loads of recommendations of taxis, takeaways and restaurants which we used. The property is out the way so you will be required to drive or get a taxi to Tenby beach or Saundersfoot. It’s only a 10-15 minute drive so I think it’s worth it for the peace and quiet. I can’t fault my stay and would happily return.

I don’t think anything could have been better

Everything we booked an extra 2 nights on top. The doggy treats bed and toy was such a wonderful surprise and of course cakes for us. Could not fault this property. Clean warm with everything you could possibly want. Hot tub was ready to use. Milk in fridge tea coffee and sugar and lots of herbal teas to try. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to rebook. The staff are great and very helpful 100%. The host always answers messages quickly . Thankyou for letting us stay

The jacuzzi outside was quite nice, and the living room / kitchen / patio are quite spacey.

Most of the upstairs floor (bathroom / bedrooms) has a very low ceiling which means you're constantly banging your head around. Some of the fixtures and fittings were clearly cheap and of poor quality.
