Good but requires some improvement

Perfect location, the facilities were top tier, it was nice and quiet

The shower was not spacious enough, the shower would take longer to get hot, the pillows were not very comfortable

Always amazing

We love it here. We've been coming twice a year for a few years. Always clean, private, relaxed. The facilities are excellent. The grounds are beautiful, and really well maintained. Watching the ducks and rabbits is lovely! The hosts are brilliant if you need them, other than cleaning the hot tub you won't see them! Can't recommend enough!

Great girls night weekend away

Easy check in, It was clean, bright, modern and airy, large hot tub and plenty of outdoor seating. Even had a dart board.

Had a dart board but no darts provided and there is no picture of the dart board on the photos so didn't bring any to use.

sunrise from a hot tub what more is there to say 👌

Everything even the kitchen is fully equipped and the oven works perfectly, the hot tub and seating area is so private and I would highly recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise in the hot tub it was amazing, followed by the best Sunday dinner we cooked in a long time, and breakfast in bed with a nice view. Thank you so much we will be back.

Our twizmas break

Loved the beautiful location, the hot tub was a big hit with our 2 boys. The lodge was super cosy and warm. Thank you so much for a lovely memorable stay.

Towels were not acceptable, old and very hard. Would of liked some kind of welcome pack, bread, butter, milk for a hot drink on arrival as no local amenities. No robes were available to use thankfully we took our own or we would of struggled. Double bed very uncomfortable too hard for my liking had to put put spare duvet on top. Could do with a maiden. These are only small things and wouldn't stop us returning.

Seclusion. Ease of parking. Style & decor. Views. Dressing Gowns & slippers were very welcome touch! Fab hot tub! Good communication.

The beds were not at all comfortable & I had very little sleep. The main bedroom could easily fit a larger bed. My children also said the bunk beds swayed every time one of them moved. There were four of us, but not sufficient dining space. Needed a mop as lots of dripping inside from hot tub. We were there for six days but only had one towel each for the week. And one hand & tea towel.

Peaceful retreat, perfect for couples

Everthing! The place is clean, warm, comfortable and peaceful. The hot tub was on when we arrived which was lovely. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from our a bed in the mornings!

Lovely quiet location apart from a noisy group in the other lodge on Friday. Hot tub was excellent. Thoroughly modern inside. Comfortable bed.

Needs a little TLC such as the kitchen sink tap diffuser leaks from the joint if you run the tap a little faster. The lounge tv remote control battery lid is broken and keeps falling off. One or two small cleaning issues.

Overall really comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub and rural location.

Main bedroom had a strong smell of cigarettes. Aired out the room but it persisted. Not nice to sleep in stale cigarette smell.

A peaceful & private escape with wonderful hosts who went above and beyond, we left feeling relaxed!

We had a lovely stay at this peaceful woodland lodge — the setting was beautifully private and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The lodge was spotless, well-equipped, and the hot tub was a real bonus. We did have one minor issue during our stay, but the hosts truly couldn’t do enough to try and resolve it for us, which we really appreciated. Their responsiveness and care made a big difference. Overall, a great experience and we will most definitely return!

Great getaway with very responsive owners who solved the faulty kettle immediately.

Perfectly sized for a short break. Views into the garden and woods were great despite the rain. The hot tub is a perfect addition. During our stay we had an issue with the kettle but a simple text and someone was on their way to resolve it. Couldn’t ask for more!

Like others I think it has to be the cobwebs and the WiFi. The WiFi didn’t bother us as we there to switch off but for others especially those with children it maybe an issue as phone signal is also not great due to being in the middle of no where.

The large garden area with woods and a fabulous hot tub for some quiet and relaxing family time Grandson was amazed by all the outdoor space for a fun weekend Close enough for trips to Skegness

The garden is amazing. My two boys loved it and my oldest really enjoyed the hammocks. The lodge was well equipped and a decent size for a family with young children. The outdoor seating made eating a bit more fun and the hot tub was great to soak in.
