The flat was clean and spacious. Internet worked well. Was close to city centre.

The noise in the evenings and early mornings make it very difficult to sleep. Random people come and go from like 8PM to around 3AM just to stand at the door of the flat and smoke and talk. My wife didn’t feel safe at all to go out in the evenings. I would advise not to book a street facing flat. There were issues with not having basic cleaning supplies like an extra bin bag for a week’s stay, which we had to request. Likewise we had no washing up liquid, which we also had to request. The booking process is cumbersome. We booked here on booking.com, then had to send our passport image to the property, pay a deposit and register on a guest portal. Finally, the bed is a small double. This needs to be mentioned in the description.

The location was very good

Convenient location near train station and mini supermarket, good kitchen and other facilities, didn't have any issues with cleanliness

Location is down a poorly kept side-road, pretty noisy outside

- The wifi connection is really strong - The room itself is nice and the kitchen utensils are decent as well. We didn’t use them but I’d imagine having the Tesco across the street would help in allowing you to save money in ordering food - Very close to the train station, a 2 minute walk if that. - Very quick responses when you reach out

- The £250 deposit is hidden under the additional information. Wouldn’t have booked this property had it been written at the top along with the no cancellation policy. Not everyone has access to a spare £250 for you to “hold” and felt blindsided. - After booking I received a phone call from the property where a woman was questioning me on why I am coming to Leicester and what I’ll be doing here which I didn’t appreciate. - Was bombarded with reminders of when we need to leave. Someone even knocked on our door a day early, interrupting us because they had been told by someone in the office that we should have left even though they themselves sent the reminder email that we need to leave by 10am the next day. - Extremely noisy road which will disturb you at night, they leave earplugs but I wasn’t keen to have to wear them. - Uncomfortable bed, the mattress was very hard.
