The property is located high on a hill in a stunning location. Beautiful gardens 2 pristine pools a wonderful games room and lovely restaurant. The staff were amazing in every area, beautiful breakfast, beautifully cleaned rooms and help with excursions and the local area.
There is nothing we didn’t like. The bathrooms in the main accommodation are a little dated but absolutely fine.

The location is beautiful and Carla is fantastic. She truly cares about your stay and that you are well taken care of. We had a small bottle of the delicious port in our room in a lovely crystal bottle which was quite wonderful. The food is amazing- such good flavor and of course the wine pairing. The breakfast selection was wonderful and very delicious too!
The location was a bit more rural than we had anticipated so we were not comfortable driving at night. The room was lovely but the mattress was quite hard and springy. Unfortunately we had ants in our room as well which got into my suitcase. 🫤

- Room was very clean - Nice & healthy breakfast options - The main helper (cleaner, in the kitchen, etc) was very nice and attentive
- Very far from everything else in the Douro, difficult to reach - Not much happening around - Main infinity pool was not open for most of our stay - Owner not always very nice - No dinner available if late check-in (have to organize 24 hours before)
