Local experience and very cosy family place

The hosts are amazing. Rafael and Roseane are lovely people and I couldn't recommend this place more. The flat is on the first floor of a house in a small "villa" how we call in Rio. It was perfect for me - I had to work during the early morning and it's very silent. The space is cosy and very fresh! I haven't switched on the air conditioning since the fan was enough. It is very well located, a few steps (really) from the Botafogo metro. The small kitchen is just fine - the oven is located on the ground floor, but there is a microwave, coffee maker and fridge that should be enough in 90% of the cases. I certainly would come back in the future.

The only thing that might be a problem is the oven - you have to go downstairs to use it. But Rafael and Roseane are so great that you can use the main kitchen anytime you want. There could also be better light on the living room - but this was only an issue because I was working from there; it should be fine if you're only touring.

What a great find in Rio! This is a super self contained apartment just metres from the metro but in a very quiet road. Rafael is a fantastic host and nothing is too much trouble.Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely return.

Simplesmente maravilhoso!!!! Apartamento espaçoso e confortável, tudo muito limpo e organizado! A localização não poderia ser melhor, pertinho do metrô e de todo tipo de comércio. Rafael e sua família são maravilhosos! Nos sentimos em casa! Com certeza me hospedarei novamente quando retornar ao Rio.

La casa è un po’ buia e la presenza del legno la rende un po’ polverosa per chi ha problemi di allergia come me.

Un très bon rapport qualité-prix

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Rafael et sa famille qui nous ont donné de précieux conseils. La maison est située dans une petite copropriété de maisons au cœur de Botafogo et l’accès y est sécurisé. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable.

Le logement est assez sombre mais nous n’y étions que pour dormir donc ça ne nous a pas dérangé. Il y a un lit double et les autres lits sont des matelas par terre. Cela peut gêner certains car c’est moins confortable qu’un vrai lit.

O local é maravilhoso, optei por ser uma casa e me sentir mais confortável por conta disso. O Rafael e a Roseane foram ótimos anfitriões, ele estava viajando e ela coordenou tudo de lá. Sempre muito solícita e me deu ótimas indicações de locais para comer (Bar do Italiano, jamais esquecerei). Ambiente aconchegante e muito tranquilo, tinha tudo que eu precisava e mais um pouco. Amei estar lá e espero voltar em breve!

É um lugar mágico dentro de Botafogo! Tudo agrada. Uma família linda em um lugar de sonho. Aconchegante, silencioso, perto de tudo. Se alguém fizer alguma crítica, o problema é com a pessoa, não com o local!

Como falei, se alguém reclamar, tem problemas. O único problema para mim é não conseguir ficar lá todas as vezes que tenho que ir ao Rio! :-)

Zona incredibile e proprietario sempre attento e pronto ad aiutare

La posizione è eccezionale. Veramente incredibile quanto è ben collegata e la zona è una delle migliori. Rafael e la sua famiglia, che mi hanno ospitato, sono meravigliosi e mi hanno anche dato consigli sulla zona e su cose da fare. La struttura era molto pulita e loro sono stati sempre molto gentili. Tornerei volentieri :)

L’unico piccolo aspetto migliorabile, se proprio devo trovarne uno, è che l’aria condizionata impiega un po’ di tempo a rinfrescare la stanza. Nulla di fastidioso, ma con un pizzico di efficienza in più sarebbe stato perfetto.

Gostei de tudo,local,da recepção e simpatia do Rafael e sua mãe e vó... pessoas maravilhosas que nos acolheu como alguém da família... simpatia, educação e respeito é pouco pra falar deles...super indico... embora eu venha correr risco de não ter uma data disponível kkkk...mas faz parte...

A questão não é gostar...mas fica uma observação,sobre o colchão...pois dormi no chão por não conseguir dormir em colchão de mola...um colchão ortopédico ou como um de solteiro o mas alto que eles tem,já atenderiam geral... lógico sendo de casal...outra coisa um fogão em cima pra dar uma dependência melhor para ambos,embora eles informaram no aplicativo senti falta de uma tv que não tem...ainda que seja com os canais aberto,mas que tenha uma tv ...como disse fica como uma observação e não por não gostar...eu levo de boa,mas pode ter hóspede que sintam falta por querer ficar em casa descansando...e nada melhor acompanhado de um bom filme e pipoca...kkk...no geral ótimo lugar... espero voltar e ver melhorias nesse sentido...outra coisa a iluminação pode ser mas forte,pois pelo fato de ser tudo em madeira escurece muito o ambiente então uma iluminação boa ajudaria.

Logement très bon rapport qualité/prix et hôtes charmants

Emplacement idéal et central pour visiter avec le métro à 50m et de nombreux restaurants sur la même place. Rue privée et fermée donc au calme du tumulte et sécurisé. Les hôtes sont charmants et aux petits soins. L'équipement du logement nous suffisait amplement car nous mangions toujours à l'extérieur (sauf petit déjeuner). La literie nous convenait (oreiller un peu plat à mon goût).

Logement un peu sombre à cause du mobilier mais pas dérangeant car nous ne faisions que dormir. Vous entrez dans la cuisine de l'hôte pour accéder à l'escalier du logement (juste au-dessus de celui de l'hôte). Le coin kitchenette est en plein air à l'étage mais abrité donc attention à ne pas laisser de nourriture car les fourmis prospèrent.

É um lugar mágico. Uma vila encantadora, no meio de um bairro super movimentado. Família super receptiva. É um apartamento de ótimo gosto, silencioso e muito fresco. Cama confortável, chuveiro com boa pressão e temperatura. Eu que bebo MUITA água, amei encontrar 5 galões de 5 litros na geladeira, mais 4 garrafas. Tudo extremamente limpo e organizado.

Não tenho uma queixa. Estadia perfeita que espero ter oportunidade de repetir mais vezes.

Localização ótima, perto de tudo, metrô, bares, restaurante, mercado e muitos pontos turísticos. A casa é muito linda e acomoda muito bem. O dono é muito prestativo e simpático

A única coisa chata é não ter uma entrada independente. Pois lá é o seguinte, é uma casa em baixo onde o proprietário mora e a casa em cima onde ele aluga. Então para a gente subir para o andar de cima tem que passar praticamente por dentro da casa do proprietário, mas ele fornece as chaves e deixa a gente bem a vontade
