Bristol Apartment

Everything was clean and cozy. Fridge was working properly, warm water came very quickly from the sink. Everything was fine.

It was a bit hard to find the place. We stayed there Friday to Saturday and there was a party on the street and nearby, so there was loud music and talking. Bathroom ceiling is not the best for very tall people as the house has pitched roof, but shower area is ok.

Perfect for our stay! Good value for money!

Nothing in particular. Everything met our requirements.

The apartment we got looked good. It's an attic apartment so it has that nice rustic feeling to it. The hot water came instantly, you didn't have to waste a tub full before it started to get warm. It has a decent sized fridge, a microwave oven and a good amount of storage space. The owners didn't show up, but their instructions where clear and we could easily let ourselves in and out without a hitch.

It lacked in cleanliness. Our infant daughter was crawling on all fours and her hands and knees where dirty after about two minutes and before you mention it, yes, we took our shoes off at the door, we brought our own clean slippers from home. Also my wife tells me her bedsheets smelled like someone had previously slept in her bed. I understand that we only slept a night, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't change the sheets. On the other hand my son wanted to push our two beds together so we could sleep together but when I moved my bed I found sunflower seeds and grime behind it so we didn't move the beds. As I said before it was an attic apartment which has it's downsides, namely the August heat was just unbearable. I won't jot this down on the owner's account, they're not at fault for the 40 plus degrees outside, however we gave them our precise arrival time a day in advance. We would've appreciated if they'd turn the AC unit on a couple of hours beforehand. We stayed one night on our way to the Adriatic sea and our host in Supetar, Croatia turned the AC on before we arrived so it was nice and pleasant. In Baja however it was 38 degrees inside the apartment. We ran the AC all night just so we could get a couple of hours sleep, it was inhumanly hot and humid inside. Good thing the AC was free if charge. And finally the windows are bolted slightly shut. You can only open them a couple if inches because they're held by a plastic band which is screwed to the frame.
