Sweet Home Pigneto Guest House

We had a wonderful time in Rome, and our stay at Sweet Home Pigneto couldn’t have been better. We loved our room and really appreciated how attentive Francesco was, even before we arrived. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Although the property is outside the historic centre, we found it very easy to get to and from by train and bus. It’s also not too far from Roma Termini, which was a real plus for us. There is a pedestrianised area not far from the property, with plenty of bars and restaurants where you can have a drink and something to eat in the evening. We really enjoyed being in a more local area rather than staying in a very touristy part of Rome, as this is something we personally prefer when travelling. One of the highlights of our stay was the wonderful dinner we had at Necci — our best meal in Rome! It was such a great recommendation from Francesco. On our last day, we had to leave before breakfast was available. We mentioned to Francesco that we were leaving early the next morning, and he kindly arranged a packed breakfast for us. He left a great selection of food in our room the night before, so we could choose what we wanted and take it with us for our train journey to Florence. This was such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated. We also struggled to get an Uber to Termini, and Francesco helped us download the Free Now taxi app. This worked perfectly for us in all the main cities we visited in Italy, as Uber didn’t seem to be as popular and was often more expensive. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay and would be more than happy to stay here again. We would definitely recommend Sweet Home Pigneto to friends.

Everything you need and very clean.

Cannot fault the accommodation here, very clean, very good service, a perfect sized room for a city break! Just a short 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station, it was ideal for us wanting to go into central Rome every day. Also, busses and trams right outside the hotel for cost-effective airport and transport links via the train at Rome Termini (3 stops on the bus!), meaning an easy arrival and departure. The staff were very friendly in every interaction made, and could not be more helpful with great details of how to self check in and great communication to ensure a safe and easy arrival. There are also a lot of good multi-ethnic food options near the hotel, too! Would stay here again if re-visiting Rome!

The apartment is so cool and lovely. Very chic. Francesco and Claudia were so helpful!

It really needs and AC.
