The Olives Terrace Residences

The setting is beautiful. High up on the hill with great views. The pool is large and in a prime location sadly not looked after well. The main guy running the place was very friendly and had very good English.

We were in a class apartment and it was basically the basement with a courtyard area which was very very damp and with no view at all. The ivy around was so overgrown we hardly had any daylight. It was pretty depressing for our last part of our journey and the apartment cost us over €500 for 4 nights so we were expecting a lot more. This is expensive by UK standards. The whole complex sadly just looked unloved. The communal area didn't get swept once. A broken toy, discarded, swim bits (goggles arm band) we're left.and never swept /tidied away. When we arrived I noticed a table with empty bottles and packets and it remained there the whole time. Out apartment was a good size and the beds comfy however the mattress was very stained. It had no mattress protector and the bottom sheet didn't fit. It was too small so it kept coming off. One of the shutters was broken, the air con unit leaked water on the floor, and the bathroom door handle kept coming off. We asked to move and were told they were full. I don't usually write bad reviews or complain but this felt so avoidable. A little bit of cleaning, tidying, care and attention would have made this place so much nicer like you see in the photos. Sadly a disappointing end to our time in Albania.

Conveniently located at almost a 5min drive from Dhermi beach. Very spacious fully furnished split-level villa. 3 full baths for 2 bedrooms was a pleasant surprise. Came equipped with full kitchen and washer along with a drying rack in the backyard. Both balconies offered amazing ocean views Came with pool access. Poolside restaurant opened super early in the morning and stayed open till quite late at night, while offering a wide selection of food and beverages. Convenience/grocery store is only a 2 min walk away Host Gretii is a very cool guy. Will recommend and happy to stay there again

The owner of the place is very friendly and easy to communicate with if you have any questions or concerns. The room was very clean and great value for money.

Nothing, everything was exactly what is needed when going to Dhermi for the weekend

Spacious apartment with comfortable beds and a nice pool. Great to have a washing machine. Location quite good for getting around Dhermi though you absolutely need a car. A couple of small food markets nearby. Staff very helpful.

The apartment was not very well equipped with enough kitchen cutlery and the TV did not work. Cleaning system could be improved. Usually a complex would have a master key for all rooms so you can have your place cleaned while you are out. Generally the area suffers with a rubbish problem and is a bit dirty. Albania is lovely but not quite set up with the infrastructure to support tourism yet.
