Great location and easy self check in. The room is very small but cosy and clean. Perfect to explore the City! Nice room set up in an old charming flat. Good window keeping the noise out when closed. Sadly lower rating due to smell in the room

The stench like rotten eggs in the room was unbearable! It seems to come from sanitary installation and made it impossible to sleep with closed window. They tried to improve it by using an air refresher in the bath which unfortunately gave severe headache so I had to remove it. The tiny fridge is fine but right next to the bed and the cooling noise was a bit annoying.

Not long after arrival we were informed that our rooms (Odegitria 2 and 4) were changed for the first night. Apparently there was a water problem in the above rooms and we would have to walk 10 minutes away, it took us an hour or two to find this building. My room was at the very top of the building, five floors up. I am 73 and it was an effort to climb the stairs. There were workman's tools on the floor and it was obviously not ready for occupying. I informed Bari landlord and the tools were removed with an apology. When we eventually got to our booked rooms the next morning, we had problems with the keycard to enter rooms. This was intermittent but my friends room (2) was often left unlocked, only because we had an electronic lock security door in between us and the front door to the street. Despite this, on our last night, a man walked into my friend's room in the evening. In respect of the other two rooms booked (through brown door), my friend's single room constantly smelt of drains in the bathroom. We effectively lost a day of our four day trip with the problems incurred. Also I didnt get the room codes for Odegitria 2 and 4 until the day before we left. Cleaning staff etc were very helpful. The property was clean and modern and right in the tourist area of Bari Vecchia. Located overlooking the plaza of the cathedral. The directions and check-in instructions were perfect.

I like the location, it was very try convenient to find.

The property didn't give me the room that I had originally booked from booking.com. I had originally booked the room with the view of the cathedral, however was given a room facing a back alleyway. The property had made a mistake and gave another visitor the same set of keys to the room I was allocated to. So someone unlocked my door and had access to my room when I was away. The property could have managed room bookings more carefully to avoid that from happening again.
