The Podere Pilàr farmhouse, an ancient Tuscan rural residence immersed in the green of the olive groves, enjoys the panorama of the rolling hills painted by Leonardo da Vinci, offering guests a unique and unforgettable experience.
The place is an ideal destination for your holidays in Tuscany characterised by peace, tranquillity and complete relaxation in the heart of the land where Dante Alighieri was born.
The holiday home Podere Pilar, located in the splendid hilly countryside of the municipality of Monsummano Terme, is a typical Tuscan farmhouse cultivated with olive trees in terraced fields (about 800 trees over an area of more than 4 hectares where the prized Montalbano olive oil is produced). The tourist complex, fields, swimming pool and park are connected by country roads that holidaymakers can use for pleasant walks, allowing them to fully enjoy the perfect architectural and landscape harmonies of the neighbouring medieval village of Montevettolini.
The holiday farm in Tuscany, located 150-200 metres above sea level in a Mediterranean climate sheltered from cold winds, faces west towards Montevettolini, while to the south the valley that extends towards the sea suggests aesthetic meditations in a relaxing environment. The Podere Pilar holiday home is just a few kilometres from our marvellous cities of art, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and the beaches of Versilia, the spa towns of Montecatini and Monsummano, which can also be visited on half-day trips.
The house, now destined for tourist accommodation, was built in 1811 and presents, after careful renovation, all the characteristics of typical farmhouses in this part of Tuscany, making the Podere Pilar Tuscan farmhouse a fully usable place of rare quality.
Built on two floors, with a gross surface area of approximately 400 square metres, each portion of which can be lived in complete privacy thanks to the three separate and independent entrances and the three kitchens, the house can comfortably accommodate a group of 14 people.
The Villa is always rented out exclusively.

Night area: corridor, double bedroom with TV, bathroom, washing machine; second twin-bedded room with TV, ante-bathroom, bathroom, air conditioning; on the north-eastern side, lovely room of approx. 25 sqm, also with independent entrance furnished with double bed/two beds, kitchenette with mono-block kitchen, two burners and fridge, bathroom with shower and washing machine. N.B. it is rented out when there are 12 guests or on specific request, on payment of the price for 12 people. The entrance is independent from the back of the house through the staircase and panoramic balcony on the north-east side and from the internal staircase in front of the house.

Flat of approx. 75 sqm, consisting of a large kitchen on the south side equipped with appliances; bedroom on the south-west side with double bed, living room on the west and north-west sides with TVSAT; ante-bathroom with washing machine, bathroom on the north side. Entrance to the flat via internal and external staircase and panoramic balcony on west side

At the back of the holiday home, in an elevated position, there is a 6x12m swimming pool, varying in depth from 1.20 to 2.10m, reached by a stone staircase or via two separate paths. The agritourism's pool is equipped with a cold and hot shower, a large poolside surrounded by plants, flowers and a large gazebo with relaxation areas, complete with equipment for complete enjoyment of the place until sunset.
The farmhouse in Tuscany also has a room furnished for guests' fitness activities, with exercise bikes, treadmills and various gymnastic equipment, a professional bowls court with night lighting for spending afternoons or evenings in the company of friends, and a large barbecue, excellent for preparing dinners by the pool or in the two separate corners of the large yard in front of the house.
Ample parking near the entrance gate is reserved for the cars of guests of the Podere Pilar Tuscan farmhouse.
The Podere Pilar holiday farm, 500 m from the medieval village of Montevettolini, is located near a golf course with an 18-hole course (2 km away) and the spas of Monsummano (3 km away) and Montecatini (7 km away). The surrounding area also offers scenic routes excellent for walking and mountain-biking, municipal tennis courts, shops and supermarkets, typical restaurants and trattorias.
The Montecatini Terme railway station is only 7 km away, while the airports of Pisa and Florence are 55 and 45 km respectively. The sea of Versilia is easily accessible, as are the forests of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
