A warm welcome awaits you at Gumtree Cottage, a modern fully self-contained property nestled amongst the countless gumtrees on this 18 acre rural site.
Located only 10 mins from Hermitage road, the gateway to the wineries and renowned restaurants, the property is ideally suited to couples, young families & friends alike wishing to explore all that this stunning region has to offer.
Guests are invited to relax in the private hot tub, stroll down to the dam, where you can enjoy a fire pit, with wood & firelighters provided with our compliments. Blankets and cushions are also provided for your added comfort.
Sunset and sunrise can be enjoyed either from the hot tub which is at the rear of the property which is fenced or from the seating area and if you are lucky you can watch the local kangaroos grazing at both dawn and dusk.
At the time of booking, guests can request up to 2 well behaved, house trained dogs. Please refer to the policy relating to dogs prior to booking and provide details of the dogs you will be bringing in your booking request.

We didnt realise how close the host house was to premise but that was on us not looking into it.Despite this it was very private and were able to enjoy the hot spa and outside with complate privacyHouse comes with all the amenities needed, we brought all own food and were surprised all the kitchenware provided, just needed to duck and and buy a hair dryer again not a drama just a note for ladies.We loved our stay, it was extremely peaceful and laying in the spa at night looking at the stars or in the morning listening to all the birds was amazing.Adrian is a great host and the whole process was super easy

Stayed here for 3 nights, and it was perfect. Quiet, clean, had everything we needed, and only 12min drive to shops and places to eat.

Such a beautiful stay. Peaceful and tranquil. The birds, the stars, the kangaroo’s, and the amazing jacuzzi! So relaxing. Our dog was safe in a gorgeous fenced backyard. Our 7 year old didn’t want to leave.

Love this place, my second stay here, only 20 mins out of Pokolbin , quiet, spa, incredibly clean. Will stay again.
