Location was fantastic - a nice quite part of the town and moments from wherever you'd wish to go.
Property was very clean and comfortable and very good value for money.
Hosts were always on hand 'remotely' and responded quickly to any query or concern, even the embarassing 'Where's the cutlary?' question (which if we had read the handbook was already explained). No clues - it's well hidden and very secret ;)
All was as expected and hoped for when making the booking....nothing to 'not like'.
A VERY minor point, bathroom didn't have shower gel/shampoo and so had to purchase from local shop (I made a concsious decision not to being any as everywhere I visit tends to have this, usually some locally sourced product).
Not a big issue and by no means would prevent me from recommending the property - just a 'for awareness'.

Excellent newly designed home in the centre in Ambleside. Excellent location. Kept is warm and cozy in the winter nights.
Loved having telly in the living room and the bed room. It was perfect.
Our couple small points. 1. is the front door needs an extra pull to close shut. I guess it is the time of the year when the wood swells up. But my be a handle just above the auto lock would have made things easier.2. It was not easy to find a grass patch to relieve the dog
Having said that, we will still happily come back here again. Everything was perfect.
