Mem was a fantastic host! She did everything to make not only our breakfast, but our whole stay fantastic with her kindness and extra services.
Location was perfect. Train 5 minutes. One day Nice, one day Eze and Menton. The other day the other direction: Cannes and Antibes.
Wonderful view on the sea, nice promenade and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Total Côte d ‘Azur feeling!

Amazing location with all guest rooms overlooking the sea. The team were super, and genuinely friendly.
Rooms are spacious, very clean and simply decorated with everything needed; the bed was very comfortable! Our meals in the hotel’s restaurant were delicious - breakfast comprised a delightful selection of vienoiserie, charcuterie, bread etc, and was very generous. Evening meal was fresh fresh fresh fish beautifully prepared- restaurant service in both morning and evening was professional, kind, courteous, friendly - we highly recommend this hotel, don’t hesitate! The room looked onto the water.
There were 3 excellent
restaurants , including the one in our building.the room was made up each day
We had all we needed a train nearby and ubers
There is nothing to complain about.there were stairs to climb so may not suit people who cannot climb ages stairs

Maison de la Marine felt like a traditional, vintage, B&B (as opposed to the new conceptions of B&Bs through the "Airbnb" era).
The charm, warm atmosphere, and family-like-friendly staff brought us back to what a beach-side Bed and Breakfast used to feel like. The owner/operator (I'm presuming he was the proprietor) was always pleasant and very helpful when assistance was needed. The breakfast was a simple yet delightful assortment of French morning favorites with coffee that matched in quality.
We also were able to dine in the evening restaurant and both of us were truly impressed with our meals which were enjoyed with the sounds of the ocean waves hitting the shore just across the beachside road.
The hotel is conveniently located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Nice, adjacent to some charming town streets, which added to the pleasantries of our visit.
We will definitely consider another stay at Maison de la Marine in the very near future.
