Small details - decor, quality of coffee…limited aircon

Beautiful property, well laid out, very clean. Bergerac town was a lovely walk of about ten minutes along the river. The house is incredible and Jenny and Nick have restored it back very tastefully. Our bedroom was beautiful- very spacious with a huge and elegant bathroom divided from the room by sliding doors. We didn’t use the bath but it was an amazing copper bath. We loved the walk-in monsoon shower. As I said the room was very spacious and the bed was really comfy. We had our breakfast outside looking over the lovely garden which has lovely planting. We didn’t actually use the pool but it was nicely positioned and very private. We had an early flight and Jenny and Nick had packed a breakfast for us, ordered a taxi snd saw us off on our journey. They are very nice hosts -friendly but not in your face.

We really loved it all and the only thing was that there was a funny sheet on the bed.

Friendly owners. Outside pool

No air conditioning. Bedroom was so hot at night. Fan provided was ineffective. No fridge in the room. As a result the milk provided in the evening turned and was not drinkable in morning.
