It made our little holiday feel very special.

Great Stay Near Open Air Theatre & Seafront

Fantastic stay for our trip to Scarborough Open Air Theatre – just a 15-minute easy walk to the venue, Peasholme Park, and the seafront. The house was spacious, with three lovely bedrooms, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

Only small niggles were needing an extra towel for our twin room and clearer instructions for the coffee maker, but everything else was perfect. Would happily stay again!

Very comfortable property and convenient location

The location of the property was fabulous and parking was easy. The house was very comfortable, beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. Comfy beds were a definite plus.

Lovely house and very well equipped.

This property is very well equipped, tastefully decorated and extremely clean. This was our third time staying there.

The parking can be a bit tricky, although scratch cards are available, the property is in a residential setting in a fairly narrow street. However it wouldn't put us off staying there again.

Excellent stay in a beautiful house

The house was immaculate, great location for visiting the Scarborough Open Air. Easy check in and great communication from the hosts. Loved the coffee machine and lovely to have a small outside space to sit in.

Well located property for all parts of Scarborough on foot. Clean and quiet property with everything could want for short stay.

Some milk (even sachets ) for a hot drink on arrival would have been a nice touch.

This place really was a home from home. It had all the little things you wouldn’t think of. The beds were super comfortable.

The bedroom windows are quite mouldy and the back of the house (bathroom and top bedroom) smelt like damp

The communication from the owners was excellent. The house is lovely, spotlessly clean, all the amenities and comforts you need. Great location, very close to North Bay and the open-air theatre. If I had anything to improve this house, it would be another bathroom because it sleeps 6, but the bathroom is large with a bath & shower. Highly recommend

Beautiful holiday home could not be better

This holiday let is beautiful. Its clean and very cosy. Its well maintained and as a kitchen which as all you need for cooking. The beds are all very comfortable and the rooms are spotless. A very well equipt property with great TV extras eg netflix, prime and good internet through out the property. We really felt at home here and its met all our needs.

There was nothing we did not like. The owners have put a lot of care into pleasing their guests.

Property, location, and hosts were all fantastic.

Perfectly positioned to explore all of Scarborough, with lots of nearby amenities. Everything seems to have been catered for, from the obvious bedding and towels etc, to family games and books, and the owners regularly keep in touch to ensure your stay is a good one. We stayed in 2022, and were so impressed we booked again for 2023; it was good to see that even a year on the house is still as immaculately clean and well kept.

Exceptional home as always

There's never anything to complain about Durham House. Stayed with my family for the past 2 years and now booked for next year just as we left the house! Perfect location for so many attractions, all kinds of shops on the doorstep and the town centre super close too! The house its self is immaculate, has literally everything you need. The hosts are amazing too, always go above and beyond and are super helpful if they're ever needed.

If your going to Scarborough then stay here as you won’t regret it

it was in an excellent location to get to all the places we wanted to visit. Fabulous facilities and decor was so tasteful and done to a high spec. Quiet street and easy to park ( permits left for you) . Owners communicated well and we were extremely happy. Not added any photos as the ones on site are true to what you find so nothing to add

Amazing - we had a fab time both at the house and out and about!

We loved this dog and child friendly house - it's in a great place, about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach or Peasholme Park and the same into the town. It was cosy downstairs, great lounge and dining area with enough space for us all...the kitchen was big and had oven/microwave/washing machine/coffee machine/fridge and loads of cutlery/crockery/utensils and essentials like salt/pepper/oil/foil and cleaning stuff. Thoughtful little extras left for stay and a shelf with some books and games. Bedrooms were all lovely - very comfy and clean and the bathroom was a good size too!
