Large and comfortable apartment suitable for our weekend while attending the Belgian Grand Prix

Alex was a very helpful host, he responded very quickly to all of our queries and went out of his way to provide us with towels. The apartment was even more spacious than the pictures showed and suited our needs exactly.

There was a lack of storage space for our clothes, it would make a big difference if there was a wardrobe or extra drawers in the bedroom.

Never again. Grubby and disappointing

Close to restaurants and bars. Spacious. Conformable mattress.

The whole place was dirty and neglected. Advert says they provide towels toiletries shampoo tumble drier feather pillows and netflix. None of these things are included. Netflix didn't work - required a log in that was not provided. Toiletries amounted to a tiny sliver of old soap that could have been anywhere, a shampoo bottle and a feminine hygiene wash. Not exactly what we had in mind when ad says shampoo toiletries and body soap provided. Pillows definitely not feather. In fact they were so massive you could not use them to sleep. The bathroom was full of cobwebs and dust so much so that we had nowhere clean to hang towels. Oh and the towels not provided either. This was important for us as we travel by motorcycle and travel light. We book accommodation based on what's provided. They eventually allowed us to use some towels they had at the property locked in a room. Threadbare musty towels that we were barely happy to wash our feet with. Kitchen had lots of bits in it but felt so grubby and tacky we did not eat there or prepare food. Fridge was not switched on when we arrived and was very dirty. Suffice to say we did not store any food there. This place is OK if you're a student who knows no better but for a seasoned traveller who has some expectation of simple standards this place fell well short. Would definitely not stay again.

Big mistake

Reasonable location near centre, although Verviers is quite a tatty place that I would want to return to

We experienced the worst night we have ever had in an Air B&B. When we tried to open the door to the apartment the handle fell off. We were then confronted by an unpleasant smell; I am not sure whether it was damp, drains or from the kitchen, which seemed to have a dubious collection of various things left by visitors over the years. After a long journey we were desperate for a shower but there were no towels so we had to make do with a quick wash, following the owners refusal to supply a towel We assumed we could use the tea towel from the kitchen to dry our hands and face, but we could not because it was quite disgusting, as you can see from the photo. This made us doubt the general cleanliness of the place. (Photo attached) My wife couldn’t even wash her face because the basin was much too high! We decided to watch some TV, but terrestrial TV didn't work because the signal was too weak We thought instead we would have a coffee but there was no milk in the fridge and the fridge wasn’t even switched on. So we went out to get one. We returned after supper hoping for a good night's sleep. How wrong we were! The noise and vibrations from the air conditioning outside the bedroom window were unbearable and gave us both a headache making it impossible to sleep. (see photo of view from bedroom window) We could not even get comfortable because there were no proper pillows, just pillow cases with bits of foam in them. We decided to try the cushions from the lounge but when we saw the stains on some of these we were not happy to use them. (see photo) That was the point at which we had had enough and phoned a local hotel to book a room for the night. In view of the problems with the Air B&B, we requested full refund, The owner declined and told to complain to Booking.com

Superb

Great location in the centre of Verviers. There are lots of shopping stores, a church and some monuments nearby the location, staff is very kind a good service. Good kitchen with lots of cooking gear, plenty of space in the living and dining room. Well designed interior.

Bon dans l'ensemble.

L'emplacement au top ! Les hôtes sont réactifs, et le logement est spacieux et fonctionnel.

L'appartement n'était pas très propre partout (dans la chambre par exemple, il y avait encore de la poussière sous le lit, et aux fenêtres. Et malgré qu'il soit grand, je le trouve vraiment pas chaleureux et accueillant, c'est très froid comme ambiance.

Bien situé et spacieux

Apparemment pas nettoyé, cuisine, frigo et salle de bains vraiment très sales, sol chambre pas propre...propriétaire averti directement, photos à l appui. Il s est montré compréhensif et désolé nous promettant un geste commercial. 2 mois plus tard toujours rien reçu! Vraiment dommage car très bien situé et très spacieux.

A notre arrivée, le frigo n'était pas fonctionnel. Mais après en avoir averti le propriétaire, celui-ci en a amené un neuf le lendemain. Au niveau de la propreté, un effort aurait été apprécié. Le propriétaire a promis d'être plus attentif au travail fait par son service de propreté à l'avenir - ce dont je ne doute pas compte tenu des échanges établis lors de notre séjour et après.

La proximité avec le centre ville et la grandeur de l’appartement

Le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de chauffage dans toutes les pièces à part la chambre et la cuisine. La propreté dans la SDB et la cuisine. Ce qu’il m’a fait bizarre c’est qu’on avait l’impression d’être trop chez les gens avec leurs affaires, photos, lit bébé. Après c’est mon ressenti je trouve que c’était pas impersonnel.
