La Pileta

La casa en sí, su arquitectura tradicional de muros anchos, suelos, techos con vigas... La amplitud de la habitación. La suite es muy grande. La cama comodísima.

Lo que menos me gustó. La escasísima iluminación del baño. Durante el día es magnífica gracias al tragaluz del techo pero en cuanto anochece, es totalmente deficiente. No se trata de la potencia de la bombilla sino del aplique en sí. Tampoco nos gustaron las escaleras de la suite para acceder a la habitación. Si bien no es nuestro caso, habría que advertir que no está indicada para una persona con edad. La ubicación de la casa está en la parte más alta del casco histórico y aunque está en el centro, cerca de la Plaza España, cada vez que sales para cenar, tomar algo, ir de compras, o sales del pueblo con el coche, para volver a la casa tienes que subir las cuestas más empinadas del pueblo. Si no tienes problemas de movilidad, o con las cuestas o escaleras, la casa es una opción fantástica.

The location in the old town is great. bathroom was newly renovated and sink, shower and toilet was nice. breakfast was pretty ok... bread basket/croissant, ham, cheese, butter, jam, tea, coffee. not the most elaborate but get's you going in the morning.

Our room unfortunabely was damp - it got better once we switched the aircon on and let it run for the entirety of the stay but sheets on bed never really felt completely dry. the property is frunished with lots of old furniture; i wouldn't call it antique.. as it's simply old furniture. there is a big communal living room space which has a muffy smell from the old items that in there. in our room we had an old rocking chair which felt creepy so we put it in the communal space . our room had a bare stone floor which was very uneven. whilst it adds to the "authentic" flair... it just always feels a bit dirty and uncomfortable to walk on. (not the cleaners fault, as i think they did a good job.. it's just the kind of uneven floor that's impossible to properly clean). The bathroom had a very small lightbulb above the mirror... which means the bathroom was super dark. Also, the mirror was simply an old (tiny) mirror leaning againt the wall where the sink was. next to the sink was an old dirty-ish vase, the kind of thing you would throw away without any hestiation.. no idea why anybody would think this is an item that would enhance the room. very old wardrobe. the bed is just ok - not the most comportable i've been in. overall, we had a nice stay and the place has potential.. but not enough consideration is given to how it's furnished. it feels like they simply put a lot of old furniture there to give it an authentic old town vibe... but unfortunatley it's a bit old and stuffy without much consideration to create a nice space.
