Gable Cottage

Everything about the house. Even though I stayed home, my husband and step children stayed and they raved about the property. I did get a video call tour and this property did not disappoint. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds super comfy, the living room has a pull out sofa bed which was handy for my step son to sleep on and he said it was comfortable. The kitchen was equipped adequately and very spacious. The bathroom was what you need in a house. My favourite part of the house (from the tour) were the stairs to the cellar, the character in those stairs 😍 definitely if they could talk they could give you a great historic story. Close to a bus stop to catch the bronte bus to Keighley where we usually spend a lot of time meeting friends and the property was easy to find and access with instructions sent prior.

The only thing my husband mentioned were the knives in the kitchen. I know for health and safety they can't be super sharp like you'd have in your own home, but he'd have liked them a little sharper, but this is resolved by taking one of ours when we book next.

Great location for us, right by where our friends live. Parking space available. Only a short walk from the town and shops and restaurants nearby anyway. Lovely owners, very helpful and accommodating!

Goes through a rental company so a bit awkward when booking and contacting. Once I got through to the owners though they were great

Very comfortable well equipped cottage for a mini break or longer stay. Clean, welcoming and homely. Nice neighbourhood with friendly neighbours. We liked the fact that by booking through Booking.com, although the property is managed by Sykes Cottages, we did not have to book 7 days.

Great cottage that has only recently been renovated so everything comfortable and clean. Good shower, comfy bed and dishwasher and washing machine and dryer so very well kitted out. Great walks locally and close to the steam railway. Haworth was walkable, down the hill from the house and up the other side. Regular buses to Keighley and train into Leeds for a wet day
